It's Pure Scam! They Will Probably Share Their Loot By 50% Each.

It's serious scam and stealing from the low income masses .People use USSD as an alternative when the bank apps are acting up or when card usage is not possible.

There is also a massive low income bracket that do not have access to an internet enabled phone that rely on ussd.Those are the people that are been scammed of their hard earned stipends.

It's equally unfortunate that they won't even have access to a platform like this to air their experiences.

I hope the authorities look into it and get it sorted out soonest.

I am surprised people are still writing that the banks should be sanctioned.Is it the banks doing the deductions ?

The deductions are currently been done directly to your airtime balance as a subscriber.

I use the ussd options sometimes for my bank transactions and when they keep deducting that 6.49k without the transaction going through at the bank end or even due to network issues the thing surprises me.

It is actually very annoying.
