Jonathan39: Speaking about what? Political achievement and how to grow an economy or stating theories? Osinbanjo knows nothing as far politics is concern, thanks to tinubu.Peter Obi single handedly sponsored his election in anambra and became a governor. Only fashola can match peter obi as far as apc is concern. And even if that happens he will still win fashola, do you know how much lagos is owning? Despite there internal generated revenue. As a politician , peter obi knew where he was heading to and not people like okorocha and co i doubt if u ever see yemi speak b4, even if u are the worst person on earth he will still market and sell you. debate is all about defending what u stand for not about listing what u achieve as a governor in a state cos i see u are starting to compare state government with federal, at the federal level u face more difficulties, u hv a lot of high profile politicians frustrating and sabotaging ur effort just for their own personal interest which is the major problem of Nigeria |

As for Ogboru this is the end of his political career. He joined a witchcraft party. If he had come on another platform other than APC, his ticket would have fly. For now Buhari would be shocked. What has he done for us that would make us vote for him. He should go and take of his grandchildren. u need bed rest |

I made the point at the other thread, let's face it, Osinbajo and Obi no be mates anyday. FACT
This is not taking anything away from Obi who has also made his mark.
This is not an ethnic thing. For instance, Prof Soludo might have been a better match for Osinbajo, but not Obi.
BUT honestly Osinbajo would easily floor Obi, CV-wise, eloquence, oratory, etc.
Osinbajo can speak for hours extempore without recourse to notes or handouts, and each sentence laden with eloquent wisdom delivered in perfect diction, clarity and articulation.
NB: this is coming from one who detests this current administration. have been saying this but poeple wont listen, they keep calling for debate which will definitely earn buhari more votes cos that man osibanjo is one hell of a speaker, really pray the debates comes up |

kjhova: Wishes aren't horses so we best get back to the real world. Some people here seem to let their hate for our current government blind them to the challenges of real world security issues. You are not part of them, as much as I can deduce, but your post may just energize them a bit.
The most powerful army in the world, the US Army, has spent 15 years fighting insurgents in Afghanistan. The Russians are presently in Syria, yet the jihadists still exist. Why do you want to beat out own army on the head for their struggles with BH when the most sophisticated fighting forces on Earth have their own issues too.
As for BH, ISWAB or whatever evil acronym they choose to be branded with, they just killed a good Muslim girl because in their warped minds, she is no longer Muslim for choosing to work with ICRC.
This guys are not religious. They are just barbaric degenerates who are pursuing a reducing economic agenda. There is a linkage of many of their types across the Sahel from Mali to Burkina to Niger to Algeria, Libya, Chad all the way to Sudan! All they need is a deranged imam, a cache of of AK-47s & a small fleet of Toyota Hilux trucks and there they go with a warped agenda of bringing forth an imaginary Mahdi!!
This madness has been going on since the days of the Anglo-Egyptian Condominium of Sudan and was further enhanced by the brutal teachings of Al Qtub in the 1950s! Surely, one day, the world will see the end of this radicals as they are destined to be dumped into the trash bin of history. Their 200 years of fame is passing along with the barbarism and debauchery they represent. God will continue to increase ur knowledge bro, lately i find it so difficult to understand how people think, if country like USA, Germany ,France and the others can be attacked by terrorist who the hell is Nigeria, i think this government has really tried, its high time people start thinking and see beyond "theirs no money in the country that has been peoples watch word" GOD BLESS NIGERIA |

Politics › Re: BREAKING! Atiku unintentionally revealed His VP! by tycoolest: 3:46pm On Oct 12, 2018 |
Carlyscales: I understand ur passion and line of reasoning. U are in the ideal world but the reality is as illustrated below:
In this election any vote that is not for PDP, is a vote for Buhari.
I've lived, schooled n worked in all parts of Nigeria. I can tell u that the block votes of northern n southern followers of Buhari will remain intact. In short ever try convincing a supporter of Buhari
But it's d vote of most Nigerians (me n u) that are fed up with Buhari that will be divided amongst Moghalu, Sowore, Ezekwesili, Durotoye etc
Infact how many of these mushroom political parties have any meaningful structures in d North. They should go to the North and converse for votes now( after all NW has the highest no of eligible voters naa)
Now looking at Moghalu and others sef. They wants to rule Nigeria but can't even amongst themselves get a consensus candidate for maximum impact at the pools. Even their umpire Oby is now also contesting.
With all due respect to them none of these parties have what it takes to dislodge Buhari in 2019. They may be serious n patrioticoo, with capacity as well oo. But there coming out now is foolish. So obviously, Atiku may not be the best candidate amidst all the political aspirants but he's d only that has what it takes to dislodge Buhari in 019
Just look at d results in Edo, Ekiti n Osun it's still PDP n APC. Even SDP that made some impact in Osun was all about Omisore than SDP. That's y when it came to selling votes he went ahead and sold to d highest bidder with any regards or respect to d natl leadership of SDP.
The ideal is that with Moghalu, Oby, Datti Ahmed etc as president n our leaders. Nigeria will turn around. But the reality is that Nigerians are not moved by ideas but by their needs n stomachs. And u can't expect more with the level of poverty in this country. Poor people are simply moved by their stomachs and so is Nigerians period.
But the way forward is simple: If Buhari n APC Know that Nigerians can reject them after 4yrs, will they be denying promises they made B4 elections n taking Nigerians for granted So I say since the nijja politicians don't owe allegiance to any party ideologies. Let us keep changing them (party n presidents)
PDP failed we sent them packing. Now APC has failed let's booth them out n bring back PDP. If Atiku fails send him packing n bring back APC. If every of our politicians know that they can loose after 4yrs. No one will tell them to sit up n deliver good governance period. u are totally wrong , if we keep sending them out after 4years then nothing will be done cos the new government will abandon all on going projects and policy of the past gov, they will lay a new foundation and at the end they will get nothing done except foundation cos Nigeria as been damage seriously. The only person who has the chance to change things was obj but he did not , he spent good 8yrs and did nothing . Nigeria cnt change over night we need to take things easy, all this great country was at a point in time like this, we expected too much from this administration that's y we think they are not making any progress compare to what we expected. |
