Asue and his godfather Obaseki have nothing to use as leverage to campaign. Ideally as a sitting Governor, Obaseki was supposed to use projects he made in his 8 years as Governor to campaign for his preferred candidate.

That was what other Governors always do. Even Oshiomole did same in 2016 when he was campaigning for Obaseki. He invited the then President Buhari severally to commission massive projects in Edo.

However, the case is different since Obaseki spent 8 years looting the treasury of Edo. He presently has zero project to his name. That's why he has resulted to propagating lies against Monday.
