UkoAnnang:Maybe because you're not enlightened enough. What you don't know, you don't and what you know is what you know. Education has evolved. Now let me share this with you, Do you know that Justice Chukwudifu Akuna Oputa (Charly Boy's father) of the Oputa panel in those days bagged his law degree via correspondence in the UK? Here’s how it happened: He initially studied at Achimota College in Ghana, then earned degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of London (through correspondence). Later, he studied Law, again through the University of London’s External Programme, qualifying as a Barrister-at-Law after completing his professional training in the United Kingdom. He was called to the English Bar at Gray’s Inn in 1953. So, both father and son — Justice Oputa and Charly Boy — obtained their law degrees through correspondence (distance learning) systems in the UK. |

Modified: Yes... My cousin who is an assistant lecturer in a state university now, graduated at NOUN (MSc.) He's already pursuing his PhD in a Federal University. I have another friend here in the US with NOUN Msc. currently running his PhD. I'm seeing some negative comments on here already. NOUN is Open and Distance Learning plus being a Correspondence school modeled after the Open University, UK. In Nigeria, some people feed on perception and not reality research. They say what they don't know. Here are some Nigerian universities that are ranked behind NOUN in the Webometrics Nigeria Ranking (July 2025): from NOUN’s position #24, those ranked 25-28 are behind it. Usmanu Danfodiyo University (#25) University of Abuja (#26) University of Jos (#27) University of Uyo (#28) All Nigerian institutions ranked below NOUN (Webometrics — July 2025) 25. Kemetian:Real talk... |
Variables:Funny you... People is European countries buy solar. In the States, we buy. Most people in the U.S. (and many other countries) get reliable electricity from the national or regional grid. You can live comfortably without solar panels if your local power supply is steady and affordable. Just that you might want solar power for independence or savings and lower bills. |

Op is not an ethnomusicologist neither a music historian. Music in Africa has evolved from one phase to another rapidly. It's just like you're saying 50 Cent is a better rapper than the Game for example. The Game genre is trap rap and he's from Compton while 50 Cent rap is hard core rap. Or you're comparing Jay Z with Ice Cube. There is no room for comparison. Both WizKid and Davido sings Afrobeat. Do not forget there are other genre like Amapiano, Afro House, Afro Tech (which originated from a small neighbourhood in SA). |
richiemcgold:Exactly, he's not an ethnomusicologist neither a music historian. Music in Africa has evolved from one phase to another rapidly. If this is true, from experience, this may be money laundering at it's peak. |
Putindbutt:Do you have the statistics? You're quoting statistics of what you don't have. I've been following Sahara and other media outlets in news and rumours reportage for close to 15 years and I can tell you that you don't know what you're saying. Sahara is not a blog, let me correct that. Sowore is one entity and Sahara is another body. |
Putindbutt:There are some elements of truth in the news, though may not be entirely hundred percent true. If you're a good political analyst that understands contemporary political theories not just beer parlour discussions, you can connect the events. Besides, Sahara whispered the emergence of Amupitan days before any media outlet in the country. |
You said what? Maybe on the grounds of what's happening on the highway... If you know, you know. |
How do you know?... Do you have evidence of that? isan: |
doublechief96:I'm not a politician..Irrespective of what's going on in the country, should understand that you're responsible for yourself. I think you'll join me on my next flight to FCT, then go register your complaints to the country office of the World Bank. The report said it's working but not translating to better living conditions for most Nigerians. When you pick your key to drive, do you get to your destination the next minute? When Dangote began his refinery for example, do you know how many years he took him to complete. He doubted himself at some point if he would be able to complete it, but he did. Growth is gradual... wait for your time. Critical thinking should make you understand that effort is being made by the government.... Effort there is a catalyst for growth. |
doublechief96:It's obvious you didn't read the World Bank report. And I can tell you're not a good learner. If you're one of my students at undergraduate level, I would recommend a book to assist your level of comprehension- "The Good Study Guide". Were you born on the day of your conception? When you plant today, do you harvest in a few days? If you were 26 years old last year, will you be 40 years old this year? No! Every successive governments in Nigeria have recorded different milestones in governance. Every citizen hopes that development by current administration translates to better living conditions. Now, go back to that report and study it, then summarize in your own words and quote me. |
fuckingAyaya:Growth is gradual.. I wanna believe there's a yardstick for measuring that...hope it'll manifest with time. |
MMempire:Yes. Visit any Study Centre near you for further directions. |
Skyhoney1:1. What kind of treatment and antibiotics did you combine? 2. And for how many days did you take it before rushing back to PH? 3.What kind of medication were you given at the hospital in PH? 4. For how many days did you use the medication given to you at the hospital in PH? Going forward on the issue, since your initial results were normal, you might need a deeper review such as: High-resolution CT scan of the chest (to rule out subtle lung issues). Echocardiogram (to assess the heart). Allergy testing, sputum test (to check for hidden infections like TB or fungal infections). Note: You should see a doctor. Avoid self-medicating with repeated antibiotics since not all coughs are caused by infection. |
This information is misleading. Akoko in Ondo State comprises of 56 towns. They all speak different languages and the shocking part is there are some towns that have two or three dialects. Some streets dialects are different from others. Then Statisense also ignored Ilaje, Ijaw, other groups that have other unique/different mother tongues in Ondo State. Now I believe Statisense is no sense. My facts are public knowledge to people in Ondo State and some parts of southwest. |
Don't say that...I've seen a state governor using lip gloss in a religious gathering. I was about 6 feet away from him. His lips were more pronounced compared to the wife at the event. It was a cross-over night. I've seen some of his pictures still using lip gloss. TechCapon: |

Why say what is not evident? Maybe you don't understand the meaning of digital IDs. Your NIN, BVN are all examples of digital IDs because with them, you can't do one thing or the other. Other countries around the world use different digital IDs for different purposes. Do you know your sim card is an example of a digital ID (Subscriber Identification Module). Don't be like the man who prophesied rapture and misled others despite his conviction. And for the guy you mentioned, I've got reservations about him/her. Be factual about things before you say them...hmm? Disenfranchised: |
FeliciaOja:Please, stay away from it. You may get addicted to it and move to the 11th Book of Moses. I'm a criminological researcher... just accept the fact that it exists. Curiosity can get your body possessed in this context. Your body is a host and you're reading mystical things and there maybe... |
Google his name. Wikipedia's page says otherwise - classified as a MUSICIAN. |
That reminds me of my leather baggy trousers stolen by a roommate in 2005, then recovered it from him in 2006 after running into him wearing the same trousers in the state capital (almost a year and a half after). The location of the crime scene and the discovery/recovery scene was in different local government of the same state. |
You can say that again! Life in the G.R.A. rocks. MichaelSokoto: |
I bought the my console way back then for N1,800 and the next console for N2,500. |
I'm colour specific too. Even in any thing I buy. It's either grey or black. |
