Kalulu44:There's a likelihood that all his scenes will be shot in a day except if it's a series/soap. Other actors on those scenes too may be persuaded to be available looking at how much the production could cost if Ibrahim's scenes runs into days. Don't be surprised he has a film village.... A big one. |
GanagiBitrus:You're right. That's the social construct. What society labels as crime becomes criminal. In criminology, it's termed, Symbolic Interactionism. Associated with George Herbert Mead and Howard Becker. |
Let me introduce you to Nokia G10. It falls at least thrice a month and nothing happens to the device. Average distance of 4 feet. |

I remember I bought/replaced my catapults for N20 (Twenty Naira) each time it gets bad. This happened on my way to GCE extra coaching classes in the evening. Table soccer was one of my favourites too. Memories... |

yarimo:Thanks man... This Alliance for Displaced Conmen (ADC) are not always happy with anything good. Food prices is going down and their family members will benefit from it and they're complaining. Hiposcrisy at its peak! It's true insecurity persists in some parts of the country but will the rest of the country starve? I read some people's comment here that federal govt is importing food and that was why food prices is crashing down. Let me tell you this: over 80% percent of the pineapples, okro etc. coming into Lagos are from other counties in West Africa.. Despite the population in Nigeria, there's no way farmers can meet up with food supply. Even U.S. imports foods from Mexico. Common Imports: Avocados 🥑 (Mexico is the #1 supplier to the U.S.) Tomatoes 🍅 Bell peppers 🌶️ Strawberries 🍓 Blueberries and raspberries 🫐 Limes and lemons 🍋 Mangoes 🥭 Cucumbers and squash Onions and garlic 🌾 Grains and Staples Corn (maize) (though the U.S. also exports corn to Mexico — it’s a two-way trade) Rice Beans (especially black beans and pinto beans) And many more.... |
Soludo sighted at George W. Bush's back. |
Sometimes I wonder how people in position of authority misled or misrepresent fact. Is coup not a matter of national security. Coup reflects insecurity in the nation. Even my students in undergraduate knows the answer to this poor assertion from the cleric. |
This reminds me of the song, "Who's that Girl" by Eve. One of my favorite rap songs way back in High School. nlfpmod:

Bestmanfornow:The post says "Recreational Facility". It's obvious you don't read and you're not objective in constructive arguments. I'll recommend a book for you. "The Good Study Guide" by Andrew Northedge. Even during PhD., it'll still help you. You can't grow intellectually. Go back to that post and read. There are grades to recreational parks. It's like comparing Samsung to an iPhone products without specifying the model. It's either, you didn't attend a good school in your elementary or learning didn't take place at all during your formative years. I wonder why you're still struggling to understand a paragraph. The post said the "largest recreational facility" which is actually a misrepresentation of fact. By the way, I'm yet to see your assignment. |
BeautifulMind2:I understand you may be trying to promote your state but don't say what you don't know and I'm not arguing with you again. Meanwhile, I'll give you an assignment as my student to check (Research/Google) for the size of those recreation facilities I mentioned in my first response and then you revert to me since you don't want to learn before you self-destruct. Submit. Deadline for submission is Tuesday, 21st October 2025 (23.59 WAT) |
BeautifulMind2:Don't drift away from the post...the word "largest" was used in the post and not most thrilling- I doubt the thrilling part of the Anambra Rec. Park, can't be the best. We're talking size. And you should learn to differentiate numbers... For instance, 1 comes before 2 which makes 1 smaller in unit than 2. And in my reply, I mentioned Obudu and you kept quiet about that... Meaning you're guilty of misleading people to believe Anambra has the largest Rec. Park in Nigeria. Stop spreading it. Relocate from your village and experience the West side... This is the first half of my fun fact. Some rides go fast and some rides go slow... |
Op, It's a good development but in terms of physical land area, Obudu Mountain Resort is much larger than Solution Fun City. Solution Fun City occupies about 12.7 to 13 hectares (≈ 0.127 to 0.13 km²). Even Hi-Impact Planet in Ibafo, Ogun State occupies about 18.5 hectares (≈ 46 acres). It's an amusement park in the South West just like Solution Fun City. Obudu covers tens to a hundred km²; Solution Fun City covers only a fraction of a km². Solution Fun City is not the largest recreational facility in Nigeria according to your post. Research properly to avoid misleading information. |

A faint positive line on a pregnancy test after using misoprostol does not necessarily confirm that the pregnancy is ongoing, but it also doesn’t guarantee that it has ended. Pregnancy tests detect the hormone hCG, which can remain in the body for days or even weeks after a miscarriage or abortion — sometimes giving a faint positive result even when the pregnancy tissue has been expelled. However, since your wife only took misoprostol (and not mifepristone before it), there’s a chance the process was incomplete. Misoprostol alone can work, but its success rate is lower — especially at very early or very late gestational ages. The safest next step is not to repeat the drug blindly but to get a proper medical evaluation: A pelvic ultrasound can confirm if there are still products of conception.A quantitative blood hCG test (rather than a home strip) can help monitor whether the hormone levels are dropping, which would show that the abortion is complete. If she experiences persistent abdominal pain, fever, or abnormal bleeding, treat it as urgent and seek medical help immediately — those can be signs of incomplete abortion or infection. You can keep your 5k. And it's best you visit the hospital ASAP! Flip Mac: |

If the circumstances surrounding his death was foursome, that's really a terrible one. |
This is good news... I've been advocating for PMC (Private Military Contractor) since. That's how it's been done in some foreign countries during armed conflicts.... What a great move. It's commendable. |
SmartPolician:After reading the first sentence. You clearly do not seem to understand. Read again or Google why some organizations have their events in Lagos then get back to me constructively. |
SmartPolician:Lagos is more visible on the map. If you ask the foreigners, they'll tell you Lagos is the heart of Nigeria (Centre of Excellence). Most of the British Council (Cambridge) events I attend in Nigeria are mostly in Lagos though a few other events takes place in Port Harcourt and Abuja. |
lordm:Real talk! You're right. Even in 20 years. |
ryloy:Welcome to Enugu State! |
Jennyclay:I want to believe your perception stemmed from your previous experience in what you called "situationship". Or let me say your upbringing because people who earns salary are paid for job done which equates to hard work. No man should should marry a woman who doesn't want a salary earner as husband irrespective of the amount earned even if it's 7 figures a month. Even Atiku and BAT were once salary earners and BAT till now. Meanwhile, You can start a viable business of your own and not depend on a man but rather assist if you want to. And not all salary earners are into 9-5 jobs. |
Let me introduce to you to the Ayam Cemani chicken commonly found in Indonesia. All black meat and egg.

A civil servant for 20-plus years, Mark has been through US government shutdowns before: Congress deadlocks on spending and many federal workers are temporarily forced into unpaid leave. But the current shutdown will be Mark’s last — he’s decided to leave his government job. Mark, who declined to give his last name, said this shutdown is different, describing a Trump administration effort “to vilify and diminish the characteristics of federal employees, to make them appear as if they are unworthy of federal service, and that’s unlike any of my experience as a federal employee.” The latest shutdown comes after Elon Musk, then an ally of President Donald Trump, earlier this year took an ax to the federal workforce , firing tens of thousands of staffers with a mandate from the White House. Trump often speaks disparagingly of a bloated, inefficient government bureaucracy. Mark, an experienced worker in his 50s who dealt with funding for museums, is now looking for a new job. “I think there’s more opportunity outside the federal government right now to do good for our country,” he said. The shutdown started October 1 when Trump’s Republicans and opposition Democrats failed to agree on a temporary spending plan to keep the government funded. Civil servants who are required keep working because they are considered essential — like air traffic controllers — do so without pay. But hundreds of thousands of others are furloughed — forced to take unpaid leave. “It feels terrible,” said Mark, who had just attended a career development seminar for people like him who suddenly have a lot of free time. Another furloughed government worker is Johan Hernandez, a young employee of the Census Bureau who said his approach is to do “one day after another.” Nicole Garcia, whose work was paused at the State Department, said she is frustrated by the shutdown — even if does mean she now has time to take her son to school. – Doubly punished – Yet another furloughed employee, who works at the Small Business Administration, has managed to persuade his bank to freeze his mortgage payments. This worker — who did not want to give their name, like many who spoke to AFP — said it has been difficult to be a civil servant since Trump returned to the White House in January. White House budget director Russell Vought, who has been credited as the mastermind behind the drive to slash the federal workforce, has bragged about causing “traumas” among civil servants. Musk fired people left and right as he ran the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) earlier this year. Other employees were encouraged to leave, or worked for departments which were shuttered almost entirely, like the US Agency for International Development. Now with the shutdown, the US federal workforce faces yet another round of layoffs — which the White House said is already being rolled out. Emily Abraham, a career diplomat who has had posts in Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and the Dominican Republic, had been laid off over the summer but was meant to receive paychecks until November. Now that she has been furloughed due to the shutdown, she receives no pay as she waits to lose her job — what she called “double off” work status. “In addition to not working, now I’m not being paid.” “I have three girls, a mortgage to pay, I have a car, all of these things to maintain, but I’m at a point where I will do any job,” Abraham said. She said the job market in Washington is saturated with people laid off from the government. “I know several former senior diplomats who are driving Uber or Lyft as they look for a job,” said Abraham.
