As a 1st time car owner, go and buy a corolla or civic. It is easier with fuel and parts are relatively cheap. If you are in Lagos they will hit your car and mechanics will rip you. You need to learn the ropes of owning a car in NIgeria and that will take you 1-2yrs. This will give you the knowledge of a car running cost (fuel), maintenance , parts, meet the right mechanic, etc. Thereafter you can buy a bigger car. Otherwise owning a car can be overwhelming and exhausting if you are not careful.
