fibonacci2526: The two phones i quoted are entry level phones, don't expect them to have all the bells and whistles at that price point. You can take your time to read more on Xiaomi as a brand.
Tecno and high standard? Never thought i would ever read those two words in the same sentence.
Jumia express is your best bet as i doubt if you would ever get it in phone shops. he can at some of those big shops at computer village but at an outrageous price |

I don't know whether to say "nice one" knowing fully well that your next comment may just contradict everything you ve just stated now
Xiaomi has always been about powerful processors that translate to value for money. I don't think they would be turning that table any time soon.
|

What type of power bank are you using? Sprintx24: Good morning guys,
I believe some of you still remember my terrible experience with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Mtk last year. Am sure Gptech, Protein etc will remember. I tried all I could to have it fixed but every effort proved abortive. I am happy to let you know that after over 6 months of packing it up in the carton, it has now decided to come back from the dead. In fact, it is the device I am using to send this post. I just want to ask a few questions... Is anyone here still using this Xiaomi variant? If yes, What MIUI are you on and is it advisable to update from my stock MIUI 8.2.1.0 to the current update notification of MIUI 9.5.2.0 currently beaming from my update task bar? Also, please how can I remove the notification highlighted on the attached picture? Thirdly, how can I back my phone up and also restore it? A practical step will be great..
On a final but sad note, my Note 4x which I bought right after the issue suffered with the Mtk, has suddenly developed the same problem my Mtk had. I truly don't understand why I am having these experiences with MI phones. I have concluded that, the problem lies in my usage and most notably, the power bank I use with this phones. All indications are pointing to this one factor. Some help with my 4x will be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I will have to be using my back from the dead mtk device. Thanks guys and have a great day, your advices and help will be much appreciated. Please don't forget to look at the attached image and offer your solutions. Thanks again! |

eleojo23: Since my prediction for page 3k is about to spoil, I have decided to give out something instead for a very funny reason. I am going to give out 7 N100 recharge cards for getting 70k useless likes on NL after 4.7years (not including the likes lost from the 2014 hack). If the likes could be converted to Naira, I would have given out more but you see...
Anyway, that is my page 3k gift. The recharge PINs will be posted at random. So try your luck. since na 70k likes, why not make it 70k recharge cards. We fit use this one shake table o |

henry007: Good question. TECNO actually released the Spark series last year as a phone with bare essentials but with a really good camera.
Sacrifices were made for that camera like Ram, low end chipset, HD display etc but the thing sold like hot cake. People wanted a good looking device for mirror selfies. Those people (not me) are the reason Spark 2 looks more beautiful and has a better camera than every phone in that price range.
Granted there's a 2GB ram spark 2 variant and 4G/LTE version from last year's spark which might be quietly introduced again this year.
Bottom line is the phone is meant to be fine(pass for midrange) and take good pictures and that's exactly what it does.
Most 36K phones sacrifice camera quality, display size and overall design of the phone for a newer 28nm process quad core processor, 4G/LTE, 3GB/2GB Ram and even 32GB storage. Spark 2 just flipped the table. if it was xiaomi that released such, what would you have said? |

HITTED: I ordered for a few items through AliExpress and after 3 weeks of tracking I got a message that my items had arrived Lagos but name or address of post office was not given. I spent 3 days going from one post office to another until I found my items at NIPOST in Falomo, and still had to pay after answering over 101 stupid security questions. Couldn't they have at least called me? But Jumia will not only bring your items but deliver it to your address. I prefer Jumia jare. you didn't do your homework very well so why complain |
