This doesn't make any sense. He couldn't win young player of the season award even though he was a nominee, how come he's winning best player of the season. Since he was in the running for both awards, being the best player overall should also mean he's the best young player, and the best young player should have won this award or beaten by someone not in the young player category.

I know the Lagos Indian Language School at Ilupeju where Indians send their kids. There is a reason it is called INDIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL and not Indian School because the kids are taught in Indian language.

I hope you know the school was created to cater to the needs of the kids of the Indian community at Ilupeju? I hope you know the language of instruction there is not in English language?

They created that school to imbibe the Indian culture in their kids that were born here and lived all their lives here so they still have that touch with their home base: INDIA

I was just wondering about that before I opened this thread and saw your comment. I did a Google search and it came up with some interesting article links. From what I could gather, basically, majority of the white population in South Africa rate rugby and cricket far more than football. Even golf is given more preference. There was a time there were serious calls for more black representation in these sports as they are largely dominated by Whites. Even at the grassroots, white youngsters aren't being encouraged to participate in football, as their parents and guardians believe 'there's no future' in it. So it'll be a while before we see the next Mark Fish, Eric Tinkler, Roger de San or Andre Arendse...

The question now is, why do whites feel there's no future in football for their kids when whites everywhere else dominates the game? Could it be racism?
