Good evening fellow nairalanders....... I finished my NYSC on 15th of October and fortunately for me, I got my offer letter last week. The total payoff after a month is 30k, I'm to resume on monday but some of my siblings advised me not to accept the offer because I am a second class upper student(B.SC) and I'm less than 24. Probably a better offer will come in because I'm still in the employment age cycle. Pls advice me on this cos I dont knw wen that better offer will come in and another believe I have is that half bread is better than none.

With so many threads created here; some "Front Page Worthy" and others "NOT Front Page Worthy", we would love to really have a more organized and impactful section that will make Front Page more often than it has been.

After taking this step, don't bother reminding myself and other moderators/supermods to move it to Front page because if it is Front Page Worthy, it will surely make Frontpage in the Appropriate Time.

Consider this thread a clarion call to sanitizing the Religious Section. In the bid to doing so, the following information needs to be well understood:


1. Do not discriminate any belief you know little or nothing about. If you must contribute, do that with courtesy, respect and maturity.


2. Religion lay emphasis on a Higher Being, be it Christianity, Islam, Buddhaism etc and I believe they all promote good living, kindness, love and respect. Through your help, we'll ensure(the best way we can) all these virtues are being restored to this section.


3. Before creating or quoting any thread, remember the rules of Nairaland. They will be enforced on anyone who breaks them

You just quoted out of context and there is never a Bible verse where Jesus was described as an ugly man. The beauty of Lucifer is not the physical type or facial beauty but the Bible was talking about the precious stones God used in building him. You can read up in Ezekiel 28:13-14. It is his built/building and not his facial beauty the Bible was talking about. Jesus is far facially good looking than Lucifer.

@op,i'm not a good bible student but can you kindly back up your claims with a portion in the bible where it was explicitly stated that Jesus was ugly because have seen some people from a poor background but who still look very cute.
