@17weeks....our second missionary journey after a loss at birth in April and now we are so grateful to be here. A quick question pls. BIL has a wedding in PH ds Saturday and hubby gave them hope that both of us will be there but truly truly, na only him dey go. We don't want anyone to have an iota of idea that we are expecting. Reason, the first pregnancy was known by all and we dont want that for this one. And again my aunt lost her husband (they are more or less separated), she stays here in Lagos with us. My cousin has called asking why we haven't come to visit although we have called to condole with her. Pleaded with hubby to allow me go for the sake of peace but he adamantly refused saying, we will see them after delivery by then they will understand why. What do u ladies think pls?

@Twinblessings.....at 6weeks some babies heartbeat can't be found cos they aren't properly formed. Just be patient go for a repeat scan.

Please how does one know if her Episiotomy site needs to be re stitched? just looked at mine now and it has an opening. . but I'm neither bleeding nor feeling any pain from there..

U will c the inside of your skin... red and looks like it has open wound. It won't bleed, use mirror or call hubby to help u check he will know if it looks better. If the place heals, u can't b resutured again, d earlier d better.

Good evening mamas, I went for ANC today. I was told to come for induction on my EDD which is next week. The reason is that I am Rhesus negative and also ask to get Anti-rhogam on my admission. Any mama experienced this??

Pls help with where I can get the anti-rhogam in lagos mainland and the cost.

I have started my long walk and climbing stairs for past 2 weeks. what else can I do to induce labour naturally as I have my fears for induction and my dh isn't around.

The doctor also said my purging after eating is just a way my body is preparing for Labour.

took mine this April....my Hubby's company pharmacy brought mine to the hospital and the price tag was 32k frm around Isolo I guess. d Dr said there are different types and the most trusted one is frm 30k BT with dollar wahala no one can tell for now.

I will be admitted today in d hospital against my CS tomorrow. mamas and papa in d house plz remember me in ur prayers. After 9 Yr +, I just can't imagine that it is happening. Though fear dey catch me small cos of the afterwards pain but I kw it must surely end in praise

Just go to the hospital and see a doctor even if u r not ready for antenatal.

My friend only saw one period after losing a baby at birth. And she waa fine.
Truly its not easy but 3months is enough to recover.
Check those i listed, try n eat well (esp fruits n vegis) n take prenatals.
This child has come to stay in Jesus name.

I just got treated for malaria after been admitted for it. Before then, I had low bp of 80/60 but before I left on Saturday, it normalize. So I dont know what else am already registered for ante natal as we are getting to 16wks. Like right now, I feel pains all over. She also adviced I got lucozade boost to help.

Pls sabi mamas help me out on this one especially those who didn't space their babies. I took in 3months after a still birth and I have not been myself. Always weak and can't stand for too long. An elderly sister just told me today that its the things mothers go through when babies aren't spaced that the body hasn't fully adjusted. pls how true is it?

In a sane state, local govt chairman takes care of the road. Since we are in a non sane state, all landlords on the street has to contribute for the road. Reason: tenants have the sole responsibility of working to pay their house rent and maintain the house they live in. There are certain things that the landlord is meant to take care of within the house when damaged, if the tenant repairs it, should be deducted frm the house rent. The tenant is there temporarily and could decide to move out any day.

I'm not having pains, just that I don't think it's healing, Cox it's still looking fresh, and I'm seeing spaces in between the stitches. I think the stitches r either loosening or desolving, but it shud desolve only when fully healed na. Just confused.

When u look do u c the inner red part of u? if its healing d rope will dissolve but won't dry yet til around a month or so. When its healing, u will start itching down there. Always wipe that are with savlon and cotton wool. But if you feel it doesnt look good, visit your Dr to check.

Kpele dear, you may have to discuss this with him. But I believe if he's helping you out with some little house work at least, or even gisting with you while doing your work, just generally trying to make you happy especially as time for the real deal is approaching and again he doesn't just dive into the hoo haa and start doing serious bizzness, you will likely give in easily and as well enjoy the thing. Talk to him first, he may not even be aware. You know men naaa, which one dey know sef

its not like this is my first pregnancy, I have talked and tire. Help kwa! uses work as excuse,though my lil sis helps most of the time. When he sees am angry he will start being nice. Although he is a wonderful hubby but this one no follow.

Sex is the least on my mind now, just entered second trimester but still feels like first trimester. Now am down with malaria and still have to wake up as early as 5am to prepare breakfast and lunch for hubby to take to work. We just didn't speak this morning cos he was just touching and touching me and I didn't respond. pleaded with him to allow me rest as am not so strong. Can't men stay a week without it and understand what one is going through. its not like am starving him just that it can't come every two days or three. Abi I should just lie down and allow him? the tot of it sef is annoying. Pls hw else can I get through with this.

I can't even sleep on my left (that's where the pain is). I've been sleeping on my right and when the pain comes, I gently rock myself back and forth till I sleep off agaain

how many weeks gone are u? pls I would advice u visit a govt hospital where there are specialists to attend to u. cos if the pain is still there it means something needs to be attended to. #concernedsis

I almost lost my baby at birth, he came with his cord round his neck and was turning blue, if not for the MD, it would have been a different story. Other 2 doctors and 2 nurses were just encouraging me to hold on while baby was in distress. Immediately the MD came, he knew something was wrong with the delivery and he swung into action. He forced the baby out with serious push and drag, He was on Oxygen and drip for 2 days.

Carelessness on the part of medical professionals is causing high mortality rate. I just hate government Hospital because of their long processes and their nurses wahala.

Wishing you healthy and happy 9 months.

They used oxygen oooo, but we are so sure it wasn't functional. With this baby, I dont care the stress in govt hospital, I will go through with it for this one.

Lo has been kicking. I timed his kicks twice and first time he kicked more than 10times in 2hrs and several hrs later, he kicked more than 10times

But that bulge worries me

My story

I was 41weeks gone last week Monday, Went for ANC last week weds (due to the public hols) , met a doc n was told to come to the hospital this past Monday if I didn't fall into labor by last week sun, according to him the policy is induction or Cs is carried out after 10days post EDD , so I got home told do n MIL, dh was in support so Mil's objection (religious beliefs) was not important.
Fast forward to sun, around 11pm started having contractions, wasn't too sure as I've has 2 false labor, so I started timing n it was abt 4mins apart, I told dh, baby is coming. In fact I was pacing the room till 3:15am wen I told dh to prepare hot water for me to bath, we got to the hospital exactly 5am, baby's hrt beat was checked n was OK , but I wasn't dilating, so I had a hot bath there, was told to go n eat the come bck.
I stepped out for just 2hrs n came bck, na so story change ooooo. Baby's hrt beat couldn't be traced, I said God forbid, went for scan n it was confirmed. My world came crashing dwn, I started crying. I was told to pray instead, I did o, yet nothing g happened.
The labor reduced, so I couldn't push, and the doc said u can't be operated upon, that I have to be induced. Hmmmm, na so I carry dead baby since Monday morning till evening wen I was induced. Tuesday morning, serious contractions but no labor, long and short is the had to augment the contractions ooooo, that was Tuesday afternoon, n was delivered of my hefty looking tall n cute boy by 1:50am on Wednesday morning. Underwent and episiotomy yet couldn't hold my baby. My dh cried like a baby.

I thank God for my life, I surrender all to him. I knw he will give me multiples for my trouble.

Would have luved to rest till next yr b4 trying but dh said for where? Lolsss. Anyways I knw I will come n reg for next yr sha, Cox I knw God will smile on us again.

God knows all my dear. Based on experience, dont take any drug for it, it will flatten your breast cos its for hormonal imbalance. i bought the drug but didnt use it afterwards. The pain will go down on its own. take para and press hot water. More grace my love, u will smile again soon.... Death cannot hold the resurrection life, the more interred the more it multiplies, each kind of sufferings only helps it grow.
