All my life, I have always wished for something and life brings forth another. First, I wished my dad was the President of Nigeria, only for me to see him struggling everyday to put bread on the table for the family. I know he tried his best, but sometimes, I feel he never did!. Secondly I grew up trying to be the first in class (secondary school) but I will always come last or second to last. Couldn't tell where the whole problem was coming from. It became so bad at a point I repeated a class. It was now time for University, I applied for Computer/Electrical Engineering guess what I got.....CSS. OK! As if dat wasn't enuf, I was advised to leave d department. I changed Course to Biology and I graduated. I know how hard I tried to be better but I ended up with 2.2 (3.23CGPA). I feel bad most time because I don't get wat I ever wanted in Life( so many things not said here). Is this God's plan or the Devil's? Finding it hard to get a job! |

People........ I never intended to discharge ur energy of applying for the N-power program, I only stated a few spikes you should watch out for before racing on the road. I still stand on the BVN thing.... it may have other uses too. Meanwhile, you should not channel all your energy towards getting a government job (its like catching a fish with your bare hands) which can be tough break. If we can be sincere with ourselves, we wouldn't concur to the 23k called salary..... haba!. I know many (or most) graduates are suffering, there are no jobs in the country and when the Government provides "Multiple Jobs" they pay penny as salary.......which isn't up to minimum wage kai!.#sadface. My point is simple, why not reduce the number; say 300,000 and pay them well (50k), that will be acceptable and the successful ones will enjoy being a graduate. Remember the government is a role model for other private companies and parastatals. If the government pay graduate this kind of salary, how much den can the private pay? That's why graduates get pay meant for ONDs. Am not stopping anyone from getting the job (ur future is in ur hands). This is how they control the society, they starve you and at the end give u a coin.........Dear NairaLanders I feel like exploding while writing this.....I like to ask this question to get your mind where mine is at.. ARE THERE SONS, DAUGHTERS, FRIENDS and FAMILIES in this kind of programs? Now you see...... Voice out fellow Nigerians Quote me today, This Government will boast of this "over 600,000 jobs created. Good morning Landers |
#Tied not tired....typo error. Couldn't modify it |
Am really worried cos bills have to be paid....23k isn't dope....why didn't dey reduce the number of ppl n pay like 50k. This APC thing is still here to dciv us....Later dey will say they provided over 600,000 jobs for Graduates without stating how much they paid....stupid ppl I still wonder why the FG didn't make it allowance instead of d "N-power" thing. Stand to be corrected though....for God sake, we served this country during our NYSC days....What do we get? E dey pain me o.....the Government can do better, they just wanna control us. |
Its quite relieving after the FG announced the commencement of the N-power program as many unemployed graduated seemed hopeful. This program is said to absorb over 600,000 graduate. Nobody enjoys being unemployed though but, I want you to know how tired up you will be in this program once you are given the job. Remember they requested for ur BVN? This means that after you apply for the job, you will not be able to apply for other Government job thereafter. As it will read in there database that you are already employed at the Federal level, there is no flexible potting. A friend who works with with a Federal Secondary School shared how he went for an interview during the CBN recruitments and after performing excellently, they told him he had a Job under the same FG through his BVN. So, if you wish to apply for this job, consider not getting any other Federal Jobs. While this may be a way to reduce unemployment think of the implications it will have in your life. Just like NYSC, you will be supervised, you will not be allowed to leave a particularly area. Really NYSC part II You will be tired up with 23k for 2yrs.......reflect on that |
stam101:Hi dear bro, the Imo State screening process is well organised. Yo should go for ur interview provided u saw ur name. Just explain u didn't get d mail (if asked). If was there on 7th n all went well. Good luck. |
Mrchisomzenas:Any o them can serve the purpose! There is State of Origin Certificate which contains ur State, local government and ur Town details, along with ur passport and code for easy identification . I think the State of Origin cert is more detailed and we'll accepted. |
Please those that went for screening today shud update d house.......let others be well prepared. |
David25:She always complain of fears. Trust issues. She's always like "what if" |
mhizeva:Hahahahahahahahha.........u jst cracked d hell outta me. Thank you, life is good jhor! |
Am just thinking......how can u b Jobless n still go to ur gf's house to chop her food n NYSC Moni..... I feel she shud encourage my hustle and pray for me. I need job |
*Depressed* Hi Nairalanders, I always think it's insane and quite stupendous for someone to commit suicide because of a heartbreak. I used to be that guy that don't believe love is REAL. I have lived a normal life until I met this lady during my NYSC. I must confess she's Naturally beautiful. She has been blessed with a kind nature of love, caring and giving. She happened to be Batch B n I was Batch A. We fell in love n all was fine although she feels insecure sometimes but, I always loved her....she completes me. Shortening a long story, after I finished my service, we talk on a daily basis on phone n she started telling me how she's afraid of losing me. She wants me to come over n I don't v the Job. I avoided a "come over" conversation. Somehow I didn't call her for 3 days n she called in d night of the third; telling me it's Over! am still confused and can't believe....as dis is a lady I LOVE n want to marry. If I v my way, I will marry her now. Am heart broken. I feel odd things when alone. This life isn't fair to me ![]() How can I help myself? It's really eating me.... |
