AdvertsThe Solution To Nigeria Moving Forward? Internet New, Blogs by uchae25(op): 3:53am On Oct 13, 2010
All the News/Information in Nigeria comes from Nigerian Newspaper, and different talks on http://www.nairaland.com, http://www.facebook.com, http://wazobianigeria.com/, etc.

We want to make our country better but all we do is talk,
Our understanding of a better country is politics, or telling another person what to change.
If we as Nigerians don't change our thinking then our environment won't change.
It starts with one person at a time, I said I will not participate in the complaining, and would be part of the solution.
One way is to start a youth information building website where I collect information all over the web, and feed it in to one site for dissecting http://wazobianigeria.com.
2. I have 4 small businesses I started from scratch in the town areas around Nigeria to understand the people better.

What are the things you are doing to be part of the solution to Nigeria moving forward?

THE FACTORS OF LIFE

The world is made up of different things like man and these others can only be seen or perceived by man through his feelings. According to the author, man became aware of himself by feelings that he exist, just as he feels other things that existed. Man’s personality could best be summed up in the way he thinks if he does not allow any other factor to influence his thinking. In this case, man’s pure thought helps to build his personality.

INDIVIDUALITY AND GENUS

Individual deference s have been limited by the world emphasis on species that man emerges from. The famous belief is that as long as man originates from a race, he must act in accordance to the character of that species irrespective of his individual make up. If he is a man or she is a woman, she must act according to society tradition for women and nothing more than that. This is the pattern of the society which has inhibited many talents as people are not able to think freely for themselves without reflecting back to their specie which already has a rigid way of doing things. But if anyone tends to be free thinking agent and yet compares his ideas into judgment with another person, it means that person has fail to understand individual deference. Although no one is completely an island, we still belong to a unit, that is a specie and are suppose to be free moral agent instead of complete reliance on laid down principles by another man. Where that person is not able to liberate himself, he lives life by copying others lifestyle instead of been personal. Those from whom he copies becomes his superior as we have today
EducationThe Fundamental Desire For Knowledge by uchae25(op): 5:48pm On May 14, 2010
THE FUNDAMENTAL DESIRE FOR KNOWLEDGE

Man’s desire for knowledge has led to dissatisfaction. Because man is always interested in knowing why of everything, his quest for knowledge always lead to endless dissatisfaction. In his case, he sees himself as different from the world and tries to find out more the difference between him and the world. This is the genesis of religion, art and science as man tries to explore his being. The trio in an attempt to explain the mysteries of this life goes about it in different dimension. On the whole the mystery of the world can better be understood if men learn to better appreciate the scientific view of the world. Although different theories have been propounded all in explanation of the world {nature), such as one world (monism), two world (dualism), the writer is of the opinion that man can only understand nature if he first of all understand himself as part of nature before seeking to understand the outside world which is also part of nature. And in doing this, he must use3 what nature has endowed him with as a guide of how he can do this is by applying his senses, feelings among others and not dependence on external bodies. The first question to understanding the world is to ask what nature has given him to enable him play his part and complement the world. This should be the starting point. There is no point looking for the connection between nature and spirit.
Christianity EtcReligion And Nigeria The Understanding by uchae25(op): 5:47pm On May 14, 2010
According to the author: Majority of people were of the belief that spiritual science because of its research nature term not to be interested in religion and all activities relating to religious life of man. Hence, many, especially the religious fanatics seem to wave aside any knowledge connected with spiritual science. But today, the belief seem to have been gradually discarded, as more persons now realize that ---spiritual science does not preach against religion but rather tries to create a forum where3 man can understand the hidden things of the world which coincidentally is the reason why he (man) has come up with different degree of religious revelation. It tries to draw man’s understanding to his feelings of existence through what he can see with his natural eyes. However, some argued that it is difficult for spiritual science to interpret mysteries for man without condemning religion but it is clear that because of the nature of spiritual science, it has never and cannot think of interfering with any religious practices or creating one itself. Spiritual science tries to explain to man why some of the things happening around him which he sees as mystery are so. For this reason, there should not be any fear as different religious body can work together along side scientific view of life in search of knowledge of the spiritual. So, making of scientific knowledge can not weaken ones original faith in his/her religion. A man Steiner who based his research on examination of spiritual realities through his conscious, direct perceiving of those spiritual realities was not listened to by professionals although he was not a theologian. Steiner was a modern man who follows his parents to church during his infancy but later stopped at age 14 when his religious teachers were unable to answer his questions concerning the meaning of life and human existence. Steiner needed to understand the truth about reality and not be told by any other external body. Hence, he turned to natural science and later considered theologians of his time to have been lost by dwelling only on already written experience of the past without consideration to every day experience of man kind.
EducationIdeology About Education by uchae25(op): 10:31pm On May 08, 2010
WHAT IS YOUR IDEOLOGY ABOUT EDUCATION AND HOW FAR HAS THE CERTIFICATE YOU ACQUIRED IMPROVE YOUR LIFE?

The sound of education generally appeals to both old and young, illiterates and the learned alike. Especially in our Nigeria context. This is seen by the people as the shortest way to escape from sufferings, poverty and its attendants variables aside from indulging in crime. This no doubt accounts for the reason so many Nigerians, irrespective of their ages, economic status; pursue education with their last breath. This development should be applauded without hesitation. At least as any country that has majority of her populace educated assuredly overcomes the risk of underdevelopment and job insecurity.

But the question generally is, in the face of this too much quest for education, how has the lives of holders of the certificate be affected or improved upon? What developmental changes have been effected in the country Nigeria where education is now the opium of the masses?

This is where most of the erroneous belief that if one can affords to go to school and acquire Degree, ones problem when it comes to matter of common interest such as poverty is over. The reason for this common belief by Nigerians is not far fetched. It is because of their misconception of the word “Education” or “School”.

Secondly, the orientation or system of education given to Nigerians by the colonial masters during missionary era was based on European and American standard which is not in cognizance with Nigeria level of development. A typical example was the system of development in America where students been trained in professional courses are exposed to the practical aspects of it with the believe that on graduation, he or she will be able to improve upon his course of study.

Before going further, it will be better appreciated if we can have dictionary explanation of the word education and what education is all about in Nigeria context. According to oxford Advance Learners Dictionary: “Education is a process of teaching, training and learning, especially in schools or colleges, to improve knowledge and develop skills”. While to an average Nigerian, education is all about “certificate acquisition” notwithstanding whether the student been trained is abreast with the necessary knowledge to improve on him/herself. With the first definition, emphasis is on training, learning and skill acquisition. Whereas the latter mainly concentrate on the students ability to memorize. In other words, one can obtain higher grade depending on ones ability to memorize what is been taught in the classroom. It does not matter if the person cannot practically demonstrate it. With this system of education, a PhD holder in Geology is free to boast of his qualification even if he has not visited any bush for practical studies. As long as he is connected to the power that be, his job is sure. But whereby reverse is the case, his paper qualification cannot lead him anywhere nor enable him earn a living, despite the huge amount spent in school as tuition fee. Face with this unexpected ugly situation, the person may either result to endurance; waiting for better days ahead or switch to crime related deals that will survive him or her. What an irony of life?

However, it should be understood that beside the white man’s system of education which Nigerians are imbibed with, which unfortunately is not helping the country, there are other ways to be successful without indulgence in criminality.

Although no one is disputing the importance of been literate as this has a very big way of helping people to understand their environments, but the basic problem is that majority have put all their hopes in the system as the only sure way to make it life. That is why when there is no white collar job forth coming, it looks as if all hope is gone for the persons who have passed through college. This is an error in thinking.

A survey carried out recently in Ika land revealed that most of the elderly people are drifting to school without personal knowledge of why they are doing so. Some of them interviewed said it does not matter whether the knowledge acquire during the process of schooling improve their lots or not. So long as education is what is in vogue, they will join the bandwagon. This ideology is not helping matters. Anybody embarking on a venture3 should be able to pre-design what he/she will achieve aqt the end of the exercise. An apprentice brick layer for instance should be able to expect that after following his master for sometime as a trainee, he would become perfect one day in the trade. The same thing is applicable to the son of the farmer who has been closely watching his father’s activities in the farm. He can work like his father or even improve on his father’s mistakes. Ironically, this is not the case with the academic world in Nigeria. No wonder graduates get frustrated without hope of a happy future. But should it continue like that? For how long should continue looking for a job in vain? Should government job be the only aim of going to school as a youth? The answer should be no!

Nevertheless, there is still hope for a tree if it stump does not die according to the bible. That is to say there is still hope for the youths and elderly to succeed in life irrespective of their educational status. The time, money and energy expended in going to college to obtain Degree or paper qualification without commensur4ate returns as some even regret attempting it, if invested in other things or skills can earn people, especially the youths long lasting happiness rather than languishing in abject poverty. Western education is good. No controversy about that. Ok? But it is not the only alternative to wealth acquisition. It is good to give self analysis to the things we learn in school as a people. We may not become rich over night but self actualization, dependence and master of ones business is what matter most. Small scale businesses, development of other skills are some of the ways to excel. Why waste time and money in applying for one job for years without success or give out money to politicians to have an appointment, instead of channeling those talents somewhere. Where you are not a barrier, even as an ika youth, the opportunity is very much at your disposal. All you need is orientation from somebody who is willing to teach if you avail yourself of the opportunity.

BusinessNigerians In The Diaspora by uchae25(op): 10:35pm On Mar 15, 2010
In Nigeria we have senators, governors, community leaders, chairman to local government areas, counselors, etc. are examples of Nigerain present leaders without knowing what leadership is all about. The aim of a leader, is to lead us in a certain direction, but our view of a leader in Nigheria, is that a leader should be one who is taking us to the right path from the start e.g. A person who is qualified to do a specific task by the people or the followers someone who in order for him to create change has to get power or money through the people. In away leaders should have the ability to create job opportunities, develop the land without any political gain. All throughout history people who we use as leaders are the one's in the bible e.g. Moses, who lead his people out of Eygpt without any support from people in power. Paul, who financed his own ministry in order to preach the word of GOD without interference of men. In future, the men that will lead Nigeria will be men of GOD. Who without finance by other individuals or social popularity will be able to change the people's situation(100% self made).

We are Nigerians in the diaspora who have been studying the English language, and have attend the institutions abroad. There is something we have found out overseas that will interest some Nigerians.
The real problem of Nigeria is not the Government, lack of money, lack of resources, or jobs. it's ourselves. Why, because if one blames someone else for their problem you will never solve it. Two, understanding who you are is the key in any problem situation. There is a study about social intelligence that will change the face of politics in Nigeria, we encourage everyone to study it. Those who we know as our government is not, the history of Nigeria started from Europeans, not west Africans. We need to create our own system of government, but not to overthrow someone else but to work within and let time, culture, money, environment, religion, etc decide between the powers. Young Nigerians this is your time, your time to use the greatest power on earth "THE MIND" to recreate our environment. Stop talking, or protesting about what other Nigerian leaders are doing, and start doing rebuilding the country yourself. As for Nigerians in the diaspora, we are coming for our land, not Nigeria but AFRICA, If you are interested in this, or have any comments please join our facebook fan club for details on Wazobia Nigeria "The New Nigeria" for more details. http://wazobianigeria.com/
