Following a strategic review, a vacancy has arisen within one of our client ( a major player in the area of oil and gas procurement) A full time Business Development Manager to be based at our operational/administrative base in Port Harcourt
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the overall purpose of the job holder will be to
1. Build long term relationships with our already existing Clients.
2. Improve our already existing client base.
3. Understanding customer’s requirements and profitably matching them with Company’s capabilities.
The successful candidate will identify and win new businesses within the major operators in the oil and gas industry, hardware vendors, engineering contractors and other partners in the Nigerian business environment. In effect the successful candidate will be our Client’s key interface within the Oil and Gas market, building long term relationships across the board from company buyers to detailed engineer to managing director.

The principal accountabilities of the role are:

Ø To actively pursue Oil and Gas development opportunities and expand our client’s development plans within the region with the view of positioning our client as a preferred supplier.
Ø To compile regional top project lists to ensure our client’s are aware of all available opportunities and provide detailed forecasting information to the Chief Operating Officer.
Ø To maintain and improve our client’s profile within the Nigeria Oil and Gas industry and inputting into the Customer Relations Management system.
Ø Carry out major presentations to clients to “promote” the ever-expanding global products and service offering for our client’s services.

Requirement
1. A Good first degree
2. Three years working experience in a business development capacity
3. Proven history of ability to carry out vendor registration with major oil and gas companies in Nigeria
