If Nigerians are happy with the name Naija, then no offence, who even gave us that name called "Nigeria" b/c I'm sure it wasn't given by a Nigerian, I think it's time to change from Nigerian to Naija officially

PoliticsRe: Government To Investigate Emeagwali by udeze(m): 1:19pm On Nov 12, 2010
this is a bunch of crap, have they finished investigating themselves, all the corrupt politicians should be investigated first before investigating Philip Emeagwali, If this kind of thing were to happen to a citizen of another developed country, the entire country will rally around him, in Nigeria, it's different case
NYSCRe: Is It Wise To Come Back To Do NYSC? by udeze(m): 1:08pm On Nov 12, 2010
if you feel you can easily get a Job abroad or that you want to work abroad and don't want to work in Nigeria at all, then you can go ahead and forget about the NYSC, other than that, NYSC is essential unless you are planning of going into private sector

PoliticsRe: What Is Your Opinion On Capitalism? by udeze(m): 10:52pm On Nov 02, 2010
Capitalism has it's own Pros and cons, It brings about competition which is very good for fast development, on the other hand, excessive greed which comes with it can make some ppl poor, under capitalism, you have to pay for everything ranging from healthcare to the basic necessities of life, not everybody can afford this under capitalism

Christianity EtcRe: Have You Prayed For Nigeria Today? by udeze(m): 6:54pm On Oct 29, 2010
I pray for Nigeria everyday.

Nigeria has enormous oil wealth, but much of the country’s money has been wasted or stolen by corrupt leaders. This means that the development of the country and the needs of ordinary people have suffered. Over a third of Nigeria live beneath the poverty line. It has been estimated that all the stolen money could actually pay off Nigeria’s national debt.

Let's hope that God will answer Nigeria's prayer through Mr Jonathan
Nairaland GeneralRe: Lottery:why Do Winners Squander Their Earnings by udeze(m): 6:50pm On Oct 29, 2010
Simply because the money was made in an easy way, there was no stress, oftentimes, it is because they lack the skills to manage the money, they will first feel that the money is so huge that it can never finish

TravelRe: Nigerians In The Diaspora Would You Move Back Home ? by udeze(m): 10:14pm On Oct 27, 2010
I'm pretty sure a lot of Nigerians abroad including my self will like to return back home but there are a lot of things that needs to be fixed in that country, If the people currently residing in Nigeria cannot be able to fix it, Is it those that are abroad will do it for them, the ppl at home (at the helm of affairs) will start the cleaning process first
BusinessRe: Zenith Bank's "Up Country Charge" by udeze(m): 10:08pm On Oct 27, 2010
I think what we need inn that country is stronger banking regulations with full implementation, we need it now more than ever, Sanusi has done a great deal but we still need more from him, I can't imagine that corporate organisations like banks will be able to steal money from the public with impunity.
