Barcanista behaves more like an Edo than an Ijaw..
Even when he was a pro biafra with his former Monicker, the profile picture he displayed on his profile indicated he is somehow related to bini. (a biafran map with Bini symbol in the center)......
A thread that excluded the Edos which a generated alot of traffic made the light of this section some few months ago, since then, he and some well known Edos started behaving somehow(anti-igbo and biafra comments)....

If truely Barcanista is Edo, time will tell...

Patience is a virtue.
maybe he is half edo/ijaw. whatever he is. He is stupidly dumb.

And did Nri comprise all of Igbo land?
I think not. In fact, I know it did not because I have read about the Nri before now.

Or do you claim the eze nri is the eze of all Igbos now?

Following is a breakdown of kingship in Igbo land: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eze#Kingship_in_Igboland

Attached below is also a screenshot which still establishes the view that Igbo sociol, cultural, and political systems have been fragmented over the centuries

Appreciating this lets you see how far behind others you are in terms of cultural organisation from a historical point of view.

Appreciating this also lets you see why they have considered you a ridiculous deep fraud when you have tried to claim ownership of their territories by calling it no man's land, or achieve self expansion by declaring them Igbos?

I don't know what you mean by 'promote hate' but I sure do know that such statement is silly, illogical and baseless. I have NOT/NEVER promoted hate between SS(that I belong) and ANY other group including the SE. However, I have state and still maintain that while I will advance for unity with all groups within the Nigeria State, I will NOT support a cause that our people know is suicidal. Biafra(Ojukwu dream) is Igbo agenda and our people has said time without numbers that we are not interested. If that means hate then I will advice you to consult oxford dictionary.

Supporting Jonathan doesn't mean you will use it as blackmail tool. Infact, using it as blackmail tool only shows your level of insincerity. That however is dead on arrival.

I am not really replying you. I am actually speaking to all that will read this thread.

My point here is you don't know how far behind others you are in terms of cultural organisation from a historical point of view.

So when you do not appreciate how anciently established others have been, you won't appreciate why they do not respect you and your state.

Now how can any of these people I have listed here not consider you a deep fraud when you have tried to even claim ownership of their territories?

Do you see how ridiculous you look when you say they are Igbo or you own their territory?

Is it because they don't speak up because they think you are really stupid?

OKay. Let me reply you now.

I do know that some Igbos did have a monarchy system on account of influence from the Bini and Edo people, but clearly, they did not form one government with themselves and neither did they form one government with the hundreds of scattered clans and villages who refused to forge any political union beyond the village/clan level, and who refused to have chiefs or kings.

Therefore, inspite of the existence of some communities which preferred (and retained an organised socio-political structure) Igbo land remained politically fragmented (from time past till this day).

Even portions of the page you sent me corroborates what I say: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nnewi#Government

NRI KINGDOM is Older than Benin..
We are REPUBLICANS historically, that is why Indirect Rule Failed in IGBO LAND.
But in ancient Igbo land, every Igbo man acknowledged the throne of EZE NRI as the ultimate seat of power.

If Igbo Biafra agitators want to secede they are very free to as long as they are orderly and act within democratic terms. However, if they think that they can force the ethnic nationalities in the South South into their Biafra then they are not ready to secede. For the record, the South South have their own agitation and Biafra is never part of it. No amount of trick or blackmail will force the SS people into taking suicidal decision.

So why then are they clamouring for an Igbo nation now? The reason is not logical. It is emotional. It is connected to a deep-rooted need for the establishment of holistic ethnic identity which they can be proud of (which they hitherto have never had throughout history).

That is why we can't stop it (their agitation). But they don't seem to realise that is what they need, that that is their problem - an identity crises.

Part of this has been explained here in my post from 2014: https://www.nairaland.com/1966541/igbo-nation

Which bridge? It's too late to breach the gap. The agitation for biafra won't die alone. More so, I have been thinking about it. Igbo Presidency is not feasible unless Pdp and Apc agree to nominate Igbo candidate on their systems - think about it. If Pdp fields in North as their presidential candidate; Apc can never be so stupid to field in south east as their presidential candidate and vice versa and since Apc is eager to remain in power and Pdp eager to return to power - they all need numbers and that numbers always come from the north so the north remains an election power house with respect to presidential election. Nominating Igbo presidency will be a grave mistake any of them can make. See let's wake up to reality, In the next 30 years, Igbos will never rule Nigeria. My advice is that, Igbos should go and nucture their own political party to contest against Pdp and Apc which is Apga. If you are waiting for Pdp or Apc to give you ticket in 2019 or whatever , you go old ooo
so after Buhari in 2023, wia will APC zone it to?
