From October 7th, 2013 till date is a total of 3 years 10 months.
So does this fall under "two to three" OR "four to five" years of work experience? |

Thanks bro! boldinc: You have nothing to lose... Jump in.
When you new results are out, just update and your score changes accordingly... no need for a new profile at the time.

Greetings all. I currently have a CRS of 409 but have another IELTS scheduled for August 19th. Would you advice me to join the pool or wait till the results from the August test is released. 409 seems like a low score and I don't expect the draws to get as low as 409, at least not till I have results from the forthcoming test, so left to me I'd stay out till I take the next test. However, I'm thinking about what the implications of joining the pool are. Would I have to cancel the profile or update once I get updated IELTS results? Advice please! |

Yes I did. Speaking and writing were youtube and ieltsliz. Didn't practice listening and reading, but i've learnt my lesson. I intend to use youtube and ieltsliz.com ieltsielts.com ieltsonlinetests.com for the forthcoming one August 19th. And yes, I filled in immigration for exam purpose. Best of luck on your test mmanwanyi: Please what did you use to prepare for your IELTS exam. Did you fill in "immigration" as you rpurpose for doing the exams? |

So IELTS results are in and the fact that I didn't read the instructions to one listening section (making me guess on about 5 questions) messed me up but its cool cos I was worried about speaking and writing before the test and thank God they came out ok. Registered for mid August exam, hopefully thats the second and final one

Just what I needed to hear for peace of mind, thank you A14: Hi! You got some things mixed up while reading. People who are advised to submit late are those who haven't gotten their police certificates, mostly PCCs from the US. Yes gift deed still works and sorting it out two weeks before you submit is fine.
All the best in your ielts. |

Congrats to all those who received PPR
I've got 2 questions I need to clarify, please!
Reading through the thread, I see a lot of people say its advisable to submit the pr application shortly before the 90 days elapse, May I know the reasons why?
Also as regards proof of funds, I haven't heard anyone speak about deed of gift in recent times, hope that still works (hehe), because I still don't have the funds in my account but I intend to get it sorted 2 weeks before submitting my application. That shouldn't be a problem, should it?
Kindly advice
P.S: Status: Still awaiting IELTS results |

IQAS didn't acknowledge receipt of my transcript. I had written a mail to my institution telling them to prepare another package, only for me to receive my ECA that night. So I dont think you should panic, it's been sorted. What uni are you sending the transcript from? and how did they send it, regular mail or courier? Farefare: Hi guys, please for those that used IQAS, how long did it take them to acknowledge receipt of your transcript sent by the institution. Mine is taking forever and I can't even call or send a mail to enquire. |

Graçias muchos czaratwork: It is your job description that matches you not your job title. just make sure your JD is 70% or above 70% of the JD of the NOC you are claiming |

Greetings my people! I have followed this thread for quite a bit, got done with ECA and scheduled to take the IELTS test this week, please pray for me I foresee an issue post-ITA though; I got employed at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and my employment letter states Maintenance Engineer as my role but this is in error as there's no such role in NCAA. My letters of appointment and promotion state Aviation Safety Inspector which is what its supposed to be. I reckon such discrepancy might cut across as being shady since I'll have to upload all possible evidence of skilled work experience. Are there any suggestions as to how I can find a way around this, please? Has anyone been in a similar situation? |
