Congrats 40manlappy.

We have set the preparation in motion. I requested for an online copy of my wes and a copy sent to ircc. I paid 33.x cad via fidelity bank visa card . it was done the next working day. 233.x cad was also paid for Hubby's eca via wes. We requested for online copy and not paper. We faxed his degree cert and it was received and acknowledged. The outstanding doc is his transcript, so he will be heading to NAU to process it. I will appreciate any contact for this.

We are preparing for our ielts exam coming up on 29th July. I have not read much, but my direct supervisor has agreed to give me part of my annual leave. I just hope I can concentrate and read for high scores. I wrote this exam in 2013 but this one is different cos I need very high score to ace this cos we only have degree and also age factor.

I can't wait to dive into the pool . i just hope Indians won't fill Ontario request for IT ppl before my ielts result comes out.

Keeping hope alive.

- On June 11th 2017 Ordered GCMS notes
- On July 6th 2017 sent an email to CPC-OTTAWA to request for a status update about my application. Got a response the following day July 7th 2017 that my application is being processed at the London Office and there there is a note on my file from the London office indicating that they’re waiting for me to pay the RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee - $490 per adult) and send them the pdf receipt.
- Paid the RPRF fees same day i got the email July 7th 2017 and uploaded through the web form.
- On July 10th got an update on my application to pay and upload RPRF Fees which was already done a few days ago, upload Height (in CM) and eye color details, passport travel document for I and my two dependants. Uploaded documents same day.
- On July 13th got gcms notes which was over 220 pages long shocked After reviewing extensively, all seems to check out fine. The last two review done on my application by two CIC officers can be seen below.
First cic officer on the 13th June 2016 says "I have verified this application under Section 11.2 of the immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and make the following determination. RECOMMENDATION:**Appears to meet the requirements** Outstanding Documents: RPRF"
second cic officer review on 20th June 2017 says - **Appears RFV pending RPRF**

I believe RFV from several posts online similar to mine says it means - "Request For Visa"

Congrats to all those who received PPR

I've got 2 questions I need to clarify, please!

Reading through the thread, I see a lot of people say its advisable to submit the pr application shortly before the 90 days elapse, May I know the reasons why?

Also as regards proof of funds, I haven't heard anyone speak about deed of gift in recent times, hope that still works (hehe), because I still don't have the funds in my account but I intend to get it sorted 2 weeks before submitting my application. That shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Kindly advice

P.S: Status: Still awaiting IELTS results

Hi! You got some things mixed up while reading. People who are advised to submit late are those who haven't gotten their police certificates, mostly PCCs from the US.
Yes gift deed still works and sorting it out two weeks before you submit is fine.

All the best in your ielts.

Dear phf2be ank kemkem,

I feel you both. We were in your shoes in November 2015, and we decided to go down the O-PNP route. Tbh, our decision was made easier because the last draws at the time had been 489 and higher, while our score was in the early 420s. We sometimes wonder if we should have waited patiently then and saved the $1500, especially when we think of how long we had to wait to get PPR and CoPR. Our friends who got ITA in February 2017 already have their PPR! But we had no way of knowing back then, and we made an informed decision based on the information that we had available to us then. If we had to do it all over again, we would do the exact same thing.

My point is that there is no right or wrong decision here. There is no certainty that the cut-off will go back down to the 413 levels we have recently witnessed. However, this outcome is more probable now than it was in November 2015 given recent precedents. I would agree with Algbenguze and say that you should wait till the end of the 60 + 14 day validity period before taking a decision. Whatever decision you take, know that you are one step closer to your Canadian Dream!

Wishing you all the best, and God's grace and wisdom.

Thanks a lot @impish.

Congrats! You will receive your PPR any moment from now, according to your notes. Would love to know when your GCMS notes were generated and if LVO requested for (your) height and eye color details before you sent it. Once again, congratulations, especially those that had their PPR's, our hopes and aspirations will not be cut-short in Jesus name.
