Had the same issue when booking earlier this month. We had to reserve and pay for the booking at their office in VI. The staff there mentioned they had stopped accepting debit cards from Nigeria because of fraud.
I made my payment on their website and it went through, just 2 days ago! And I used my Zenith Bank card.

Please I'm trying to book my flight through Ethiopian Airways. The payment options doesn't include debit card, and I'm not familiar with the options provided. Can someone put me through on how to go about this? Thanks
It does, booked mine yesterday. Look carefully for "local card sth sth", cant recall the exact words. I used a zenith bank debit card precisely

Congratulations to you all I swear EE is a lot of work but u guys are resilient..

Please I don't know which 1 of u is active but I want to ask.
I have a fresh Int passport as I have not travelled to any country before,
Does it stall my chances of getting a visa? Or my application denied by the Visa Officer.
Not even in the slightest way. Go for it!

You're right!

Its time for damage control. They shouldn't reject me for uploading an old passport should they? In any case i'll upload a new one next week.

I'm sure I can get one in a few days in Abeokuta or Abuja passport office

Elfmannisback:
You'd have uploaded evidence of RPRF payment and work on renewing ur passport. August 11 is enough if Ikoyi passport office is not in the picture .

C'est mon avis.

Thanks for this 1Misha.

Please what was the content of your own message, just curious!

I'll upload the new one this week, my bad!

1Misha:
Ure meant to upload a new one. Had the same new passport request once my old one had less than 6 months validity. Ppr came in about 2 weeks after new passport upload.

quote author=UdomoLeinad post=69386866]

Yeah it was the same.

I'm in London visa office and I realise its a thing for them to request uploads of biodata page

People get the request whether or not the validity is less than 6 months

I was given 7 days for the RPRF and till August 11th for the biodata page upload

Do you feel I made a mistake? I'll upload the new one when I have it though but resubmitted the old one with 5 months validity left on it in the interim

Greetings folks!

I got an ADR for payment of RPRF and update of biodata pages for myself and spouse and did so immediately.

Sadly, my passport expires in December (5 months validity) and I'm yet to get another one done. I uploaded it like that sha

I hope I did the right thing. I'll work on getting a new one and raise a CSE within the week, hopefully!

Long time guys! For those in the Feb 24 IP2, how's the waiting o?

For us, update to application has come in the form of a baby boy... wink

@newmum0615, i am the new newdad0618 grin

...no wonder PPR didn't come since. With lack of passport paper in our dewr country, one may be forced to do 64 pages passport for a newborn bayii!!

May it all end in praise for us!! Cheers!
Congrats bro!

Waiting is going ok.

Just discovered I'm in London visa office yesterday, much to my dismay

Anyway it is well

The bolded is not always correct though, I made an 8.5 in listening in my first attempt and honestly I had practiced so much I never got beyond 35 in my practice tests.

What I did was most test I practised on youtube I increased the speed to 1.25 so I trained my brain to follow fast conversaTIONS. The actual test felt really slow like the conversation was delayed because I was already used to fast discussion.
Good concept! I don't know why I never thought about this.

This should be magnified for people to know. Increase the speed to train brain for fast conversations, this could really help!

Also, I agree with you on how performance during practice doesn't translate to equivalent performance during the main test. I never got perfect score during my reading practice but the three times I wrote the IELTS I had 9s three times. On the other hand, I performed quite well during listening practice but it was the reason why I took the test 3 times, even though I never got less than 36 during the practice.

Not the letter. I raised CSE for new passport as old one is expiring soon. One kind fellow replied me (after two weeks) confirming the updated passport. He then said that he’s sent it to my visa officer in London and I can email them directly with similar updates in the future.
I got the exact same message today, same dreaded london visa office

CIC finally confirmed receipt of RPRF we paid over 3 weeks ago after countless mails and inquiries.

They should just do fast and answer us before part 4 of this thread starts

..LET PPR MAILS START FALLING!
Bro, did they request for it or you just paid without a prompt from them? I'm paid only the processing fee and wondering whether its better to just pay the RPRF before I get prompted

POST ITA Questions for the elders in the house, please

I see the questions, Have you applied to IRCC before?
Also, Have you applied for Permanent Residency before?

Just for clarity sake, my first express entry profile was found ineligible by reason of omission of my BSc from education history pre-ITA. I then realised the error and filled out the new profile I got ITA with but I'm afraid I entered YES to the questions above and entered the express entry profile number in place of the pr application number which explains why the questions were answered YES by default post-ITA and I find the EE profile number in the place of PR application number. Silly me! So my questions are that doesn't count as application to IRCC does it? I know it doesnt count as a PR application though! Also, how does changing the answers to NO affect anything? They dont have pre-ITA info stored somewhere do they? I'm just correcting the error that I made, innit?

Thanks Deebay and happytbaby for responding to my question earlier.

This might help others subsequently:
If you're one of those who intend to evaluate only your Masters degree, when filling out the EE profile you still need to enter in your Bachelors but indicate that no ECA was done on the Bachelors degree else your profile will be found ineligible.

I wish everyone the best.

Check the number of hours you entered in work experience, is it per week or per day?, Re-read the question and check that you enetered the correct answer.Someone once entered hours per day instead of per week.
Yeah. I paid attention to that too. Could it be because I entered only information about my masters under educational history? ill try again
