Cassava beer?! YUCKS!! I wonder how they'll eliminate that pungent odour of fermented cassava. Btw, I see a great potential in cassava biz should the brewers pull this off. |

Sports / Pictures Of Some Premier League Managers When They Played by UGetSense(m): 9:39pm On Jan 08, 2014 |
I just came across these pics and they looked funny, so I thought I should share with you guys. ROBERTO MARTINEZ A more recent memory, Martinez only retired in 2007. Martinez started off in his native Spain with Zaragoza before going on to play for Wigan, Motherwell and Swansea, among other sides. He ended his playing career at Chester City in the 2006-2007 season. JOSÉ MOURINHO Well, if anyone ever tells you it is necessary to have a successful playing career to become a talented manager, ask them 'what about Jose Mourinho'? The 'Special One' only played 94 times in his senior playing career. Playing in his native Portugal, Mourinho opted to retire early and head instantly into coaching. ARSENE WENGER The longest-serving Premier League manager. Arsene Wenger has been at Arsenal for more years then every single other manager in the league, combined. So you can most certainly be excused for not remembering anything about his playing career. Wenger only made 67 appearances during his career, mostly for Mulhouse and Strasbourg. DAVID MOYES This is a truly great picture of David Moyes during his playing career. Moyes had big spells at Dunfermline and Preston North End, where he went on to become the manager later. He made over 500 appearances during the span of his career, scoring 46 goals for numerous clubs. So what do you guys think? Kinda funny, right? |

Religion / Why Christmas Should Be Banned by UGetSense(m): 1:03am On Dec 19, 2013 |
My problem with xmas celebration is not basically due to the fact that historically, xmas has paganic antecedents. But I'm more irritated with the behaviours of our societies during this period. We're all witnesses to the chaos, extravagancy, desperation and exploitations associated with xmas celebrations: the desire to show off our wealth via new wears, new cars, latest gadgets, etc. These conventional unnecessary behaviours have resulted in high cost of living, frauds, increased transportation fares, robberies, kidnapping, gluttony, drunkenness, sexual immorality, etc. Thus we as Christians need to answer the basic question: If Christ were on earth, would He accept these unruly behaviours all in the name of His birthday? It's a sure NO. So, I seriously agitate that we redefine our perspective of xmas and behave like christians during this period, and the govt make new policies that will control the excesses in the conducts of our markets. Or place an outright ban on Christmas celebrations!! |

Family / Re: Being The Only Male Or Female Child: How Does It Feel Like? by UGetSense(m): 6:31pm On Jan 04, 2013 |
I'm d only son amidst 2 young sis, and I bet u it's not easy. My dad is late, and believe me the responsibility weighs me down. I'm now expected to marry early and to a specific type of woman. I'm a cool type of guy and sometimes I prefer doing things my own way but because of responsibility, I do the things I'm expected to do rather than the things I want to do. So, at times it sucks, but on the good side it makes me a responsible man. |

Questions 4 d females- 1) Could u hav d courage 2 approach & woo a man & suxesfuly kip him witout him seeing u as desperate? 2) Can u go against culture & pay a man's 'groom' price(if u claim 2b a modern day woman)? 3) Wud u feel so fulfilled if u'r d bread winner & d man is d kitchen keeper? If ur answer is YES, then good luck while u try dem out. Mentally, men r more daring. Emotionally, men r stronger-willed. Physically, men r built tough. Biologically, men hav higher testosterone (man's greatest pusher). Spiritually, men r not easily possessed (reason why d devil went 4 Eve instead of Adam). I'm a respecter of women & I know dat as much as women advocate 4 equality, its not entirely feasible cos even d woman wud want d man 2 b d controller. 1 Like |

But I suggest d man contribute 65%, & also always bring mony 4 food. Dats Y he's d man |
