I would like to fly in from London to hold a clothing sale and i am currently looking for an ideal venue to hire, around 70sqm to 100sqm (if indoors) for approx two days for around 8 hours a day. Location would preferably be on the island and easily accessible however all options will be considered. Can anyone help me with potential locations and venues that are not too expensive? |

Use any cream with the ingredient Urea. Recommended by doctors here in London and will resolve the driest skin conditions. Let me know if you need any further info on this |

Do you think that if the west showed the oppulent side of Nigeria(i.e the fantastic lagos and abuja sides) that we as Nigerians would still complain anyway and deem this oppulence/wealth to be as a result of 419? I am going to a seminar soon which involves heads of production companies that make factual/reality shows (this includes the BBC) and i was thinking of proposing the idea to them that for once could they show a more positive and humane side of Nigeria. This may help to change and dispel the views of many in the diaspora that Nigeria is not a country worth returning to. I feel that if more positive images were shown then many Nigerians who have talents in various fields would want to invest their time and talent in Nigeria rather than making other countries economies wealthy Phew!!! |
Always negative!! This is why the West look at us as if we are animals! They feel that all of us in Nigeria live in these predicaments like animals!! |

I currently live in the uk where (as a hobby!) i sell clothes that i source from all over the world. I buy clothes (and shoes) EXTREMELY cheap and hence am able to sell them on cheaply. I use a fixed price list which has helped me gain a mass of customers(and people asking me to help them shop when they come over to the uk!!). I would like to bring the concept i use in England to Nigeria whereby i will hire a venue and host a sample sale bonanza lasting for approx two days. There will be lots of clothes, shoes and accessories! I do not sell wholesale whereby there will be a multitude of one item!!The maximum i usually have of any one item would perhaps be two or three, so there is rarely a chance somebody else would have the same item of clothing or shoe as you. To give you an idea of fixed prices i sell my clothes at in the UK are: Women: Dresses £10-£15 Shoes £20 Shirts £15 etc (This could be by any designer or store ranging from Primark,Topshop to Miss Sixty etc) Men: Shirts £20 Jeans £40 for Ralph Lauren etc (True Religion Jeans i sell at £100 ) I only buy current or future trends So what i would like to know is, Is there a market for me if i was to come to Nigeria to host a two day sale?Would people come ? |
