Now, you explained it. look at it from this perspective, you are an artist you see an offer that everyone should paste for one to be chosen, what does it sound like? a competition and you didnt even mention how much you have in mind to pay. if you wanted ideas you can post that you want so so and so done and if you can do it let me know, people will respond then you follow up and see their previous work then award the project.

Dude I hate to burst your bubble, you can't just run a blank competition and expect guys to enter, people hussle and they need to see a reward for their efforts. Personally this whole deal appears shady. if you want to host a competition come clean with all the details.

for animation forget laptop o, you need a workstation with a great graphics card at least 8 or 16gig ram and up to a terra hard disc and either nvidia graphics or ATI or a top end 2gig and above graphics card.
