beautiful job erad. just beautiful. so how did you do it? |
Aseye: hi guys, there are some of us that will still check in here no matter what, as long as its still a section on nairaland and as long as nairaland neva shutdown. my own suggestion about this thread is that it should be spiced up..for design sake, this place no be literature section now, whenever one comes here, na so so post of words..we said we are designers and all most do is post comments (which is not entirely bad) but i think we should post more of designs (isn't that our job?) let the jobs speak, enuf of you talking...its really boring in here thats why most early guys dont find it interesting to return here (they are not lost, cos they are actively involved on other forums, you can google them..lol) let me just leave it here..cos me self don dey type plenty words..i hope someone gets the message...pls do post in more jobs, old or new but make sure they are worth it...if you are a novice, you are free to post (we are all still learning)..that's ma own little observation sirs..gbam, na tru talk my brother gabmedia: Not Just being a moderator as ugo but to encourage up coming pple to learn from so called professional in the field and create a free avenue for them to learn free of charge, when last ve u seen my postwhat do you mean by that. lol! till Jesus comes free stuff will always be appreciated less. pls o no be like me ooooo. because I charge 2 million for tutorials and also designed logos for outragious amounts on the forum. |
awesome! |
Ugo has really done a lot for this section, moderating a section as big as this requires loadz of time and dedication which he has always exhibited but for his new "white collar job" that he got "jeeejeee-ly"... and @erad too has been very helpful, up and running even he helped on one of my threads too so, I'm also passing a vote of confidence on him. Erad!!!
HAHAHAAA. bros my hand clean o, omo, work and mod dont go hand in hand during the week. lolz I admit slacking when I got the white collar job. but I see the fire in erads eyes. he can do it |
congrats erad. you got the post. I believe in you. |
unfortunately that is not possible for mods, there isnt much difference between mod and normal user |
ok guys, I agree we should stand up for the graphics community. since we are all gurus let start displaying out art skills lol |
Erad baba, you may not blame me o, but others may not share the same idea. honestly when I find it hard to visit is when this new theme took over for nairaland, its hard on my eyes. I think you have a point there anyway. will try to clean up the thread soon. |
ok guys, let me drop a quick tip, it doesn't take a mod to make a forum great, it takes those who visit it. I didn't understand it when the last mod before me was telling me about it. oh well its still De Ja Vu. ![]() No single man can do it alone and thats what a mod is, a single man or woman lol! Edit: Also the user politics that goes about this mod post is outstanding. like they say the grass is always greener on the other side. |
hmm... did someone call my name? oh shit they want to put me on wanted list? hahaha, ok first of all me I don try ooo na una wey ignore all my efforts, some even add sand for the small garri wey I get I accepted a mod for the passion of helping others, damn I even started a tutorial series on yuotube and free skype sessions. and not even a comment or something nor even a question. so me I jeje go put on collar and went looking for job o, thank God I got a decent paying job that has broadened my horizon into media web design and other stuff. so now I just dey pass here and chook eye if anyone needs help then waka pass. now ask me what will you do in my shoes and do you believe you can do a better job as a mod. if you can then let me nominate you to Seun personally, I no go waste time at all |
Ok this is one of those days that I feel like doing some quality stuff for the community. Ok here is the deal, from now to friday all my logos are at a flat price of N5,000 yes I know its insane. so if you have any logo needs let me know. just send me an email via nairaland and I will get on it ASAP. |
I fear for the people of that village, the blood of these guys will surely cry out against them. God won't turn a blind eye on this for sure, unfortunately the devil is happy for the feast of souls he is gonna collect from that area. |

by playing I mean very well like the likes of gamerbee, tokido and dieminion. Or is soccer the only game in nigeria |
julimax: Hey Guys no mind them, I bet u they cub even be Lebanese. This is what they do here in Abuja, they are not good in design but get jobs. instead of paying artist to do them they put up offers like this and many desperate artist bring up designs hoping to get something. They wud take their time to choose the best of the designs and execute the job themselves, and the hungry designer wont get shishi....yeah very sad |
akallalone: How much is it.Just send him an email and he will reply you ASAP |

save as PNG |
...sorry peeps, I have got a question bothering me, please I just learnt to design print ready materials using Photoshop but I heard that most printers use corel format for printing. please how do I move my psd designs to core draw without losing any Photoshop effects in core draw? thanks peeps
solution 1: Save your final job as PDF and proceed to import it to Corel draw Solution 2: Save as PNG and proceed to import to Corel Draw Solution 3: Save as Tiff (big file size not recommended) The PDF option is usually the best route to take but I use option 2 the most. Just make sure you set your color space to CMYK before you start your work or you can use RGB and pray for the best. |
1supremo: Disregard my post, and follow UGO2_U's advice. He's the boss-I'm only a rookie who knows a lil' Photoshop and even less Flash.Didn't mean to step on you, just wanted the guy to have an open mind. We all learn everyday. |
your request is vague. |
Never allow anyone to tell you what software to use. Find out what you want and learn it. but have this in mind most printers in 9ja use corel format for their printing. and Photoshop is the standard for photoediting. but test drive the softwares and find that you are comfortable with. |

gunuvi: Thanks @erad for the assistance. The lady finaally settled for the very first one you designed. The one with the blue and green colour. Please she will be very glad if you can help her convert it to maybe jpeg so she can be making use of it. You can help send it to her email ydinternational @gmail. com.A slight word of caution, placing emails here is not really advisable because of email bots that will eventually spam the email address with junk mail rather send erad a nairaland mail through his profile. thanks for the good work bro |
toluxa1: Lmao, no mind me jare. Thanks bro, u too much. May I ask how/what you used?photoshop |
