JOB TITLE: WEB GRAPHIC ARTIST/DESIGNER – REF NO. WGR/2012
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Candidate must be exceptionally creative and have at least 2 years of professional work experience in concept creation and production using a combination of technologies;
Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash and Coreldraw extensively is essential for the prospective candidate.
Must have a good educational qualification and age not more than 30 years.
He/she must have a portfolio of past projects to present for interview. He/she must also be excellent in design works for print, electronic and the online media.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

cashflow: i am also thinking of graph.helo,you that is now working as graph artist.didn't they teach you Photoshop.and how long does this program run?

They did teach photoshop, but the method is linear, more like reading from a textbook actually. so I had to go source out video tutorial and even pay for video tuts and learned on my own. And if you are a fan of reading textbooks there are like six of them they will give you too

here is how to download them

1. Download a video capture software eg. speedbit video downloader, youtube downloader, freecoder software
2. install it on your computer
3. go to the video page on youtube
4. play the video
5. click on the download video tab that the software you installed will add to your browser (I use speedbit video downloader)
6. set the download location and voila!! you are done

My advice is you may know photoshop inside out but if you are planning to get a job you need paper backing and NIIT is the most recognized in this country for now. If you wish to go there have in mind that it is for the certificate and not the skills.

I know you guys have been seeking for where to get adobe training, be it photoshop corel draw or indesign, now is your chance, I was able to get intouch with an Adobe Certified Expert that runs trainings for adobe certification. sorry I haven't been around. have been tied down with work. usually my logos are priced between 30k - 50k for 30k I can make a maximum of 3 revisions, 40k 5 revisions and 50k 10 revisions. I usually give 3 versions of the logo to choose from

As they are not common softwares the tutorials are scarce. you can search google. I have a copy I bought for 40k (both illustrator and indesign) if you like I can sell it to you

Man I no even see this your request. hmmm... I am kinda tied down at work, any design for free now is quite hard for me to attend to, with lagos work keeping me out till 8 pm it is unrealistic to deny myself sleep to do a free design. On corel draw On the menu tab, click on bitmaps, then scroll down to bitmap color mask and click on it. on the bitmap color mask toolbar then increase the tolerance to 52% then click on the color picker and select the color you want to remove then click on apply.

in photoshop just choose the magic wand tool set the tolerance to 32 then click on the paper portion on the signed image, this will select the paper, then double click on the 'background layer' to unlock it then press delete. proceed to save as .png file (not .jpeg) to retain transparency. enjoy
