Jobs/VacanciesRe: WAEC Recruitment Aptitude Test Let's Meet Here by UgoChyNew: 12:42pm On Jan 07, 2014
Hmm. This is serious. I hope they will not go asking questions like this which have controversial answers; only sadists do that.
There are many 'tough' questions whose answers are, at least, available on their website for anyone who seriously searches to find.

Day one of training going down. Any 'Johnny Bravo' who has his/her phone and can give us juicy updates from in there?
May God keep all of you in Jesus' name!

kushy: 2001. check their site for d percentages.
A certain website said the embossing of photo on certificates was launched on 16th August 2003. Please, can someone confirm which is correct, in case we are asked such a question.
Thanks to those sharing brain teasers. Good move!

Now, if you intend to write 'particular' and mistakenly omit 't', that's a typo error (probably). The same is not true if you write 'you'll' instead of 'you'. Copies of 'Brighter Grammar' available in leading bookshops nationwide.

Hahahahahakikikikihohohoho! No be small thing oh! Btw, I'm not laughing at anyone in paricular.
Let's stop giving excuses; they make change slower. Some gbaguns are obviously not typo lol! Sometimes, I just pity employers. They must really be going through a lot...
Lol at "And for (say)...", "On the well...", etc. Chei! Oyibo bu agbara!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Airforce Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) 2013 by UgoChyNew: 4:52pm On Nov 15, 2013
Special congratulations to Franksunny, Whitest and all those who have crossed over. May you make it to the training and commissioning in Jesus' name!
I prayed from the beginning that if NAF is not my destiny, I shouldn't make it. I have seen God answer that prayer. Truth is, I was never passionate about the job but was interested on the basis of just getting a good FG job. The search for our destiny continues.
Once again, succesful friends, don't forget God. Success comes from Him alone. Even if someone helped you, God permitted it to work out.
Safe journey to Kd!

I congratulate those who got the texts. However, something is wrong somewhere.
It is not true that this is NAF's usual method. Follow last year's thread on NL and you'll discover that whereas sms was sent to invite cand. for zonal enlistment, it was on their website that people got to know whether they were succesful or not (not sms).
Even if they want to start using sms to inform people, the list must be on their website and national dailies. Even the sms did not specify the details of the interview.
Well, no hard feelings (sincerely) towards those who got the text. I just want to encourage those who didn't get it that IT'S NOT REALLY THE END. Keep hope alive!

@Golden Dr: You're welcome. Read up on everything about WAEC; from the correct full meaning of their name to how your course of study+experience is relevant to the position applied for. Above all, BE COMPOSED no matter the question thrown at you.
As for marking, I don't stay around Lagos so, I can't direct you. Just ask people around, mostly teachers in secondary schools around you. You'll need to have a BSc and then go to a marking venue to 'gate-crash' in a subject similar to your course of study. After coordination, if you're lucky to get a parcel, they'll collect your credentials (photocopies) and you're in.
You can also go to the nearest WAEC office to you and make all enquiries. They'll have more authentic help.
All the best!

WAEC Nov/Dec GCE coordination and marking on-going at various centres across the coun3 since last two Fridays. It will end this week and hopefully, EOs will be invited for interview Nov ending or early Dec.
From a highly placed official @ one of the marking venues, anyone invited for the interview is as good as having been employed; except you 'overgoof' @ the interview.
Read up guys and keep praying. Hope you went to church today?

He asked a question, I supported with a similar question (not even the same) asking folks to share reasons why they want to join the military. He called me a copycat and I quietly removed my question only for him to still continue the name calling.
Well, last comment on that from me. I won't let an overgrown baby drag me into trading words on NL. Pls Whitest bro, leave him alone. If he doesn't get any response, he'll mind his biz.

Hahaha! About three predictions on when the result will be released have failed oh. If you're involved and it was really your 'Oga at the top' that gave you those predictions, begin to forget about their being able to help you oh lol!
Come to think of it, there are less than 300 slots and there are definitely MORE than 300 OGAS and ogas having one candidate or the other. LWKMD! The thing will not even be enough for the ogas to share!
Best bet is to have THE OGA of all ogas (God). If you put Him first, your chances will be higher.
Meanwhile, that grammar somewhere up this thread nearly gave me a headache but thank God, I dodged it!

Now, this is far more meaningful than the first 'joke'. Keep it rolling dude:-)

My heart is beating so much faster. Let this list come soon oh, abeg. I also have been praying that if this job is not God's will for me, my name should not show on that list. I don't want to play with my destiny fa.
Jogging continues while I wait. This morning, I took the exercise some distance longer than I've been doing.

Bro, no be small thing oh! In God's time, everything will be made beautiful. Please, let's keep hoping and praying; that dream job will certainly come for all of us.
While waiting for it, I don't think learning a trade is best except it's related to your course of study. Whatever sha, just follow your heart and do what keeps you happy and generates some money for basic needs at least.
We shall get there!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Airforce Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) 2013 by UgoChyNew: 3:44pm On Nov 04, 2013
Well, the waiting begins... It's obviously not going to be today anymore. Let God's will be done.
gambudu: no need to quote am nah.him just dey express e opinion abt NA Thread. To understand him enter NA thread and follow d posts there from d begining, after wich u can personally conclude if d testimonies sweet nor bitter
Oga, if you didn't have the explanation I asked for, you for just waka pass na. I don't see any good thing on the NA thread that NAF applicants should emulate and "do same". I wanted a clarification from Franksunny, not you. K?
Madam abeg, you get cool pure water?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Airforce Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) 2013 by UgoChyNew: 4:56pm On Nov 03, 2013
franksunny: Though i didn't apply for NA, I'm a regular visitor to that thread. The testimonies there are not sweet at all. I urge prospective NAF officers to do same because the whether is cloudy and is gona rain cat and dog.
Please sir, I don't understand what you mean by "the testimony there are not sweet at all" and "... I urge prospective NAF officers to do same..." Kindly explain more, biko.

Thanks so much Mimzy! You have been so great on this thread; like Emrino last year. I pray God that you're favoured in the selection the way Emrino was last year.
Please, anyone with useful info on the nature of the training should kindly educate/enlighten us. Truths only, no hear-say please.
Bless you all!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Airforce Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) 2013 by UgoChyNew: 7:52pm On Oct 30, 2013
On the 'Oga-at-the-top' issue, it's a two-way thing. If God provides the connection (real one oh, not kwe-kwe) please use it and you'll not have sinned. Except you're sure that if your elder brother becomes Governor of your state tomorrow and offers to make you a commissioner, you'd turn it down (ehen now, some people have been in the Civil service for years so, it'd be 'wrong' for you to suddenly become their boss lol!)
On the other hand, your having someone provided by God should not make you put your trust so much in him/her and forget to trust God basically. You should also be mature enough to KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! What'd you gain from flaunting it at others? So that they'll desperately go seeking one at all costs? SMH!
Well, let's all see how this drama unfolds. Please, if your oga-at-the-top fails you, kindly confess on this thread so that others (next batch/course) can at least learn that it is God that has the final say, Oga or no Oga.

emmanuel4fire: Tuesday is the correct answer. Tuesday is today. Wednessday is tomorrow. Thursday is the day after tomorrow which is three days before sunday.
You're right. Tuesday is the correct answer but it wasn't given among the options. I chose Monday sha.
Abeg, does anyone know if successful candidates for the interview will be accommodated? I only know that they won't provide feeding.
Also, what's the main training going to be like? What's a typical day in there going to look like?
*Not fear oh; just to prepare ones heart*
Jobs/VacanciesRe: WAEC Recruitment Aptitude Test Let's Meet Here by UgoChyNew: 9:50pm On Oct 25, 2013
Since the AEO guys wrote their test about a month before EOs, it follows that those who applied for the post of EO should get interview invites about a month from now. God abeg oh!
Please, btw, how much will WAEC pay Exam Officers? Anyone with an idea?
