I'm not saying Lucy doesn't have fans (I believe she gained some more when the picture of her roasting plantain surfaced on social media and yes, she may have gained some again cos she quarrelled with Nengi or brought content last night). It's also possible that fans of Ka3na and Dora voted for her. Hence her exit from the bottom 8 list.

I was responding to someone's post that suggested that Twitter retweets > likes was the ultimate marker that people showed more support for Lucy compared to Nengi.

Being mentioned by 4 Erica supporters on my original post shows already that this Lucy hype is coming mostly from team Erica and its coming from a place of deep seated hatred they have for Nengi.

I know a number of Erica fans here who do not have "deep seated hatred" for Nengi. I certainly do not. I also know some Nengi fans here who'll never post anything positive about Erica or would believe whatever negative post was made about Erica even without watching. It goes both ways dear (I understand why you won't see that).

I've always wondered why some fans try to pitch the girls against each other but I guess it's just the game.

You should know the way these things work na. Nengi's haters (fans of other housemates) are the ones retweeting and not necessarily Lucy's fans. Tbh, whatever strategy Nengi chooses to adopt is not Lucy's business. She should play her own game.

As for Erica, she is good. Maybe not in the mold of Genevieve, as Genie and Omotola are in a class of their own, but certainly not Adesuwa Etomi. Who knew Adesuwa much before her marriage to Banky? Isn't that what opened a lot of doors for her? I have watched Adesuwa and she is good, nothing exceptional.

You and I supported Mike last year. And I know you always defend him, as do I. But if you put Mike side by side with either Kiddwaya, or Erica; in terms of talent, Erica trumps him. With the right connections, she'll fly.

And in terms of content and relevance in the house, Kiddwaya is miles ahead of Mike.
