Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua has released a controversial YouTube video purportedly showing the healing of a man with horrific snake-like scales across his body. The clip titled, ‘A Video You Will Never Forget’ shows Mr Jude Oraka from Anambra State, Nigeria, receiving prayer from the popular cleric during a prayer service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos.

Oraka, a driver by profession, claimed he fell victim to a strange skin disease six years ago which "defied medical comprehension". Jude’s sister described him as a "walking corpse" whom the family had given up on. However, several months after receiving prayer, Oraka returned with smooth skin to testify that "he was healed by Jesus Christ through T.B. Joshua".
The clip has already racked up over 100,000 views since its release and attracted hundreds of comments from both skeptics and believers alike. Joshua is not a stranger to controversy, making headlines this week for not showing up at a court case surrounding the deadly collapse of a building within his church premises last year. Emmanuel TV, which debuted on DStv and GOtv last month, is one of the most popular Christian television stations in Africa. It’s YouTube channel has over 265,000 subscribers, making it among the most subscribed Christian channels worldwide.

Ace Nigerian female singer, Tiwa Savage has said she didn’t connect instantly with her son.
Tiwa said this during her interview with Genevieve Magazine, she also spoke on the hardship she faced during the delivery of her child.

“I’m going to be as candid as I can be and Genevieve is the only press I’ve ever told. They say you bond instantly with your baby but I didn’t have that instant connection. I was in a 20 hour labour and just when I was about to push him out, his heart rate dropped, so there was a lot of panic in the room and we were all in tears. Then, when he eventually came out, everyone screamed “congratulations” and they had to put him on my chest to bond. Instead, when they did, I said “He is beautiful, but can I sleep for just one hour?” revealed Tiwa.

She further said,“Thereafter, I was so overwhelmed, that for a week after delivery, I would cry every day. And I don’t know why that happened. The midwives thought I was suffering from depression but I guess a lot of first-time mums have felt that way. I think it is the overwhelming feeling of being responsible for another human being. Now, life is no longer a joke. I cannot do just anything I want. Yet, on the other hand, I am very protective of him.

Being a mother has made me like a lioness, and I’m ready to bite anyone’s head off over him”
Tiwa also revealed that her husband/manager, Teebillz is the reason why none of their baby’s photos have been made public.

“Well that’s his dad’s decision. Every mother wants everyone to see the picture of her baby. I want everyone to see how cute he is but I understand my husband’s perspective too. He is the head of the house so I have to respect his wishes. Eventually we will reveal his face but for now he wants only close family and friends to have the special moment to bond and not share it with the world yet.”

Music superstar Tiwa Savagehas explained her decision to perform while she was pregnant in Uganda.

The 35 year old mother of one performed in Kampala at the Uganda’s annual Women’s Day celebration and Social media awards.

Speaking with Genevieve Magazine on her decision to hit the stage at that time she said,

“I went ahead with that performance because my doctor had given me the go ahead. And I had also contacted a local doctor out there.

However, even though I did do a few other performances like that; I wasn’t planning to be that energetic at that event. But I got so much love from the crowd in Uganda and it was very emotional for me, considering the stage of the pregnancy at the time.

Before, I got there; I had doubts about how I would be received and if I was going to be made to sit on a stool during the performance. But when I got there, everyone was warm, loving and understanding of my situation.

In all, that performance was unexpected. I got that energy from somewhere, but trust me, the next day I was in bed all day.”

The minister of youth and sports, Solomon Dalong during a condolence visit to the national chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, over the death of Abubakar Audu on Wednesday said that the promise to pay N5,000 to unemployed youths is not contained in the 2015 budget but it will definitely begin in 2016.

Mr. Dalong who spoke to ​ journalists​ during the visit​ said:

“I would want the youth to understand that every promise must be backed up by budgetary provision and our promise to pay N5000 is not contained in the 2015 budget. So, definitely, it is going to begin in 2016 as we have made budgetary allocations for that

“We are committed to the campaign promises of creating jobs, providing wealth and combat poverty. We have embedded in our manifesto things that we are translating to reality​.”​

Excerpts from Tiwa Savage’s detailing interview with Genevieve Magazine has surfaced online.

The 35 year old singer shared a little about her painful pregnancy and also said she had pre-eclampsia, a condition which according to Google, in pregnancy characterized by high blood pressure, sometimes with fluid retention and proteinuria.

She told the mag,

“Well, it’s a condition some women have towards the end of their pregnancy. For me, it was a period where I had high blood pressure, my feet got terribly swollen and I could hardly walk. Plus, my baby was overdue by about 7-8 days! At the end, they decided to induce me to labour because they were worried about my condition. It was a painful ordeal but I thank God everything went well.”
