Excerpts from Tiwa Savage’s detailing interview with Genevieve Magazine has surfaced online. The 35 year old singer shared a little about her painful pregnancy and also said she had pre-eclampsia, a condition which according to Google, in pregnancy characterized by high blood pressure, sometimes with fluid retention and proteinuria. She told the mag, “Well, it’s a condition some women have towards the end of their pregnancy. For me, it was a period where I had high blood pressure, my feet got terribly swollen and I could hardly walk. Plus, my baby was overdue by about 7-8 days! At the end, they decided to induce me to labour because they were worried about my condition. Most pregnant women get induced na,no be news.Moreover, you said you were due. Painful delivery?I'm yet to see a painless delivery. Anyway,you be first timer.Congrats on your baby once again. |
