No. I love my peace and quiet way too much to give it all up for fame and I'd rather live without the publicity. Same goes for politicians too.

festive season. Even a business woman needs to rest before beginning another year. You can come to my house and eat though; lots of food and it's free too.

Romance › Re: What Will You Do If You Find Charm In Your Partner‘s possession? by UjSizzle(f): 7:24am On Dec 27, 2012
We can't have two masters in a house, my God will not dwell in a place where some lowlife spirit is offering protection.

If i find a charm in my husband's possession, then it's time for serious prayers on his head; not by any pastor but me.
Ask her every day (at least 10 times) jus to make sure she doesn't forget, this is a very serious matter, u don't want another guy getting her before u do...also send something for her family for new years' a lil gift
this girl na case grin

OP everyone says 2weeks, is that like standard 'waiting period'?

Most girls don't need to wait so long to give an answer; If it's a yes, they wld know from the onset, if it's a no then there would be no need thinking about it unless they're just tryna make you feel important before giving u a No, or make u suffer before a Yes(just so u dnt think they came easy, even animals dey demo too)

Still some of the best relationships have had close to a year 'waiting period' if the guy thinks she's worth everytime.
Do you think she is??
Romance › Re: My Boyfriend Is Married In Nigeria! by UjSizzle(f): 6:48am On Dec 27, 2012
FlowerPower: American sister, don't be a fool. Run like Hermes and don't look back. Most Nigerian men in the US have Nigerian wives somewhere in the world. Most Nigerian men WILL eventually go back to Nigeria when they reach retirement age. Once we had a hypothetical "what if" session and I realized we would be better as friends. If we got married, there would be a time when he would want his children sent home to be raised in Nigeria. He would also want to build a house there and return after retirement.Regardless of what you say, there is no way you would spend the rest of your life in a 3rd world country and deprive your children of the luxuries (constant electricity) provided in the US. Your friend knows this as well and had the good sense to marry a Nigerian woman who understands how he thinks. However no man is going to live the life of a monk in another land away from his family. It's best to realize that 31 years old is not an old maid in the US and find an African American man quick, fast and in a hurry. Don't waste any more time on this man! sad
@bolded. Thankyou

It's difficult to willingly let go of you loved ones for Jesus. I know he knows i love him and hopefully i won't be put into temptation of having to choose.

Rubbish. If they have a problem with her tribute containing 'God', why did they chose her to read it?
Since when are tributes edited to suit the listeners? It's supposed to come from a person's heart, what they did was wrong.
And yes i would still think it wrong if she had amadioha in there and was asked to exchange it with God.
Christianity Etc › Re: Do Prayers Actually Work? Be Realistic With Your Response And No Insult, Please! by UjSizzle(f): 6:19am On Dec 27, 2012
Prayers alone while neglecting duty isn't going to work. Even the bible says faith without works is meaningless, and you are expected to work out your salvation.

You plant the seed, water it continually, and then pray for God to help it grow.

Now to your question, there are a zillion times I've prayed for something to get done, but like I've said before, you need to work towards it. In other instances, i was torn between two decisions and wasn't entirely sure which would be beneficial to me. I spent a week fasting and praying and askin God to show me which way to go. I also asked for a sign. Two weeks after, i got it. That's an answered prayer imo.

Sometimes, we pray and expect answers immediately. But even the bible says that when the time is right, we will get an answer.
So while praying(in accordance to his Will) also ask for patience to wait on God, and that ur eyes be open so u recognise the 'answer' when it finally comes.

SAFO: ..... But am i lying?

Or do you really believe what u said?
it's your opinion, who's to say if u're lying? Drop it, i really don't have the time to go back n forth explaining myself.
Romance › Re: My Boyfriend Is Married In Nigeria! by UjSizzle(f): 7:33pm On Dec 26, 2012
SAFO: It's narrow minded thinking like this that continues to perpetuate those negative stereotypes and r3tard growth as a community.

Instead of trying to pigeonhole "the Nigerian man", why not choose to enlighten?
lmao when u're done spewing ur guts, move on.

It'll hurt real bad. When my anger is spent, I'd like to know what went wrong. People you love don't just reject your gifts without reasons.
