OP like you've heard marriage is for better or worse, there's no running away from this. If you're truly a Christian then you should know infidelity is your only Christian ground for divorce and according to ur gist she's been faithful to the best of ur knowledge. My only advise is for you to pray, you got a warning from your prophet and you deliberately chose to ignore it for whatever reasons you have, now u're facing the consequences. You just have to swallow, you are the sole architect of ur problem and not ur wife. Ask God for forgiveness and grace to pass through this stage.

even you have to admit that every plan you make is still subject to change esp by unforeseen circumstances. Maybe her wanting just one after a promise of four is extreme and she has to also consider reaching a compromise with her husband keeping in mind the time constraint and financial constraint; but saying she's bad for changing her mind after BBM promises and whatever you're thinkin is plain silly.

I don't get why you're sounding like this Tunji. If a woman says she wants to have a life outside her family life, i think it's okay. She's got a career and a family to watch over; it's up to her to create a balance without letting anyone suffer. Lesser kids gives her time for work and still enough time to shower attention on the child or children. It's works differently for different people; while one woman can handle multiple kids and a career(depending on the career) doesn't mean another should be able to also.

A child is a joint thing between couples and no one should have 100% decision in that aspect. If she wants to make 100% decision then she doesnt need get married, Just get pregnant to a random one night stand guy who wouldnt even remember her face.

Though I believe if its related to the health of the mother then the woman should have the final say since its her health that would be most affected.

OP. Nothing your cousin can do other than to wait for her if she wld have a change of heart. But if after years they stil have different opinion then you might want to consider other options like adoption etc. Or simply (like Most ppl on Family section advise,) DIVORCE

i kinda like a little bias in the family when children are concerned in favour of the woman, but then i doubt any woman in her right mind will want to have multiple children and go through multiple pain of birthing like a chicken if the means to take care of them isn't available.
