First of all i believe God is in charge of every believer which means the devil has no right to touch a hair on our head without God's permission.That's what i think happened in the case of Job. otherwise the devil has control of the world and whatever happens in it, when you are in Christ he relinquishes his hold on you.

Secondly every angel in heaven i believe has a purpose. Gabriel was the messenger, Michael, Raphael and every other unnamed ones have theirs too. I guess there's an angel of death there too..who knows .
Just because God is ever loving doesn't mean he won't get rid of our enemies. He doesn't need the devil to do that for him.

Basically i'm saying, that the devil isn't God's messenger nor does he work for him....you shouldn't assume all death that occurs is of the devil.

I just believe time should be apportioned for everything as we deem suitable; keeping ourselves away from irrelevant matters while building ourselves up spiritually. I don't think that should mean our daily task aren't important.
