Personally i don't think it's a sin to take alcohol as long as you know your limit and don't get drunk.

The wine mentioned in the scriptures could have been made from grapes(sweet non alcoholic wine) or vine(alcoholic wine), but i know Noah drank wine and so did basically every Israelite, Greeks and Egyptian.

Like someone's already said, she's still coming to terms if being a mother it's not easy. Tell your cousin to listen to his wife, she's the one having the babies not him, she's one who's gonna have sleepless nights and sacrifice much more not him. Men should learn to let their wives have the number of kids they want.

You better advise your friend to put his house in order; he should start acting like a man or very soon his inlaws will move into his house and start living with him.
