Let her give you the money and stop allowing your self-esteem get in the way of good friendship. But make sure you pay back like you promised.
She's your girlfriend. Should be your closest confidant and your best friend eventually. If you can't comfortably tell her your problems and let her help you... well, I don't know what relationships are about anymore. |

blublahd: Looks like you trying to decode me huh? Ok, I would say, you far too caring and introspective to be so. But what drew me to quote you, is how you fondly accept your flaw. Most women rarely have that trait, could say the same for males too. Well, if we fail to embrace ourselves flaw and all, how do we expect anyone to? About being introspective. Lol when you're an introvert it's really just a biological hazard So I'm not a serial killer. Thanks! |

Experience is the best teacher which in turn can be observatory or participatory.
Don't you think the Nigerian youths have garnered enough experience in the past two decades to make them well equipped and informed to handle leadership of the country? Give reasons for your answer. |

pseudonomer: The task in ruling one state or a ministry cannot be compared to the task of a ruling the whole 36 states. It requires wisdom, mental strength, a lot experience especially in a developing country like Nigeria. You say the youths are corrupt and have proven to be inept at governing even the smallest political body. How do you suggest Nigeria can come out of this? Can you proffer possible measures that can be put in place to prepare the youths for governance when these old men finally retire or pass on? |

Samtolly4JESUS: Who are those using them for these bad deeds Isn't it the old ones?? Shouldn't they be laying good examples they keep taking advantage of the gullible youths who fall into their traps... Who are those denying the youths of education and good standard of living?? These same old people so as to prevent the youths from taking over from them... Isn't that pathetic
We need change!! We youths can do it!! Let's say no to gerontocracy!!! Calm down, this is not a political rally. You suggested giving the youths a try. What indications have the youths shown to prove they are ready to govern if given the opportunity? In your opening arguments you made mention of the youths who ruled the nation in the 70s and how they are the same people ruling the nation now. What difference did they make as youths as opposed to their decisions now? What do you presume changed? |

Miracy: Murtala Mohammed was head of state at 37 and his 6 months at the helm of affairs was very promising... Gowon was 32 when he became head of state at the time Nigeria was going through her biggest crisis - the Civil War. .. . They could perform well when the were still strong and agile... Can you cite examples of what these men achieved during their reign as heads of government as youths? Miracy: There's a popular saying... "an idle mind is the devil's workshop"... what do you expect from the youths out there who have been hoping for things to get better but only get worse?? ?. .. Their dreams have been shattered and all hope lost... Nigeria is a virgin economy with a population of over 140 million people-- who are mostly consumers. How do you suppose that a youth who can't take advantage of prevalent economic environment to think his way out of the box will successfully manage a nation like Nigeria, say in a situation like the past president faced with the insurgents and refusal of the US to send arms; or the current oil crisis? In your opening speech you highlighted with facts how the older generation has run the country to the ground, and cited instances of countries like the US whose young leaders have proven to be capable hands. What peculiar similarities does the Nigerian youth share with these foreigners you've mentioned, that convinces you-- and us by default-- we are capable of producing the same results? |

Caracta: Lol. Fixed deposits should be rolled over ONLY at the instruction of the customer. That's the normal thing to do. I can sue any investment house (or bank) that rolls over my investment without my instruction. But then, who am I to argue with my uncle jaybee? Your experience pass my own. I'm a learner. Your head like sue as if the acceptance form doesn't include terms of investment. If you don't give instructions to terminate, your investment and accruing interest is automatically rolled over at the prevailing IR. |

Like I said more of curiosity, moreover it will take a couple of pics before I reach a conclusion. And perhaps a little poking here and there. Let me help then. kay9: Cmon... You're a mod, you should know better than make sweeping statements. "Ndi ocha" may not be around here to read that, but saying it in Igbo makes it even uglier. Please modify your post so I can unquote this unpleasantness. No. Would you have preferred I said "These whites can be very foolish" instead? It would mean the same thing essentially. And then I'll go on to add that some white kids have nothing to spend their time on. I'll wait till someone white expresses offense at my "sweeping generalisation" first, not some over reactive black guy. |

luxanne: Just like the others I've read, quite revealing.
Over a thousand actresses auditioned for that role, I read that and I was like
Plus what I don't get is fans getting agitated lena had a double for that role, I mean like seriously? Should that be something to get worked up about I really don't get it.
Read she found the role amongst other things degrading, why she opted for a doppelganger. Ndi ocha na nzuzu. Some of those white children don't have anything useful to spend their time on biko. Maybe they should also get angry Paul Walker used a stunt double for the cliff scene. |
