Ultravires reporting live and direct from Ekiti, ise-orun/Emure camp. The stress since yesterday is 10/10. Registration took close to 8 hours buh the female folks were given preferential treatment , they weren't allowed to queue @ any point of the registration; dunno if dey had 10 heads. lol
The camp is looking gayish in nature cos ratio of male to female na 20:2; still wondering how dey want us to survive this 21 days in dis kinda environment.

The Idemmiri North local government inspector just announced at Today's CDS at Ogidi Local government headquarters Anambra State that stream II will start their orientation programme on 4th July 2017.
He further said that, the call upletters are ready, they will be uploaded together with the time table before the said date.

This week should define where we are heading to, if truly we would be camping on the 4th of July, definitely the time table have to be released this week if nothing comes up diz week dat means na OYO we dey ooooooooo...

REASONS WHY I AGREE THAT STREAM2 WILL CAMP BY JULY 4TH.

it is no news that the 2017 batch A was divided into streams on 18th May when not every PCM was able to print his/her call up letter.
It was how ever announced by the nysc officials that the stream1 lucky corpers would be camping by 23rd May, leaving those for stream2 in the state of wonders as the they kept the date for stream2 secrete.
The anxiety of stream2 pcms has be used by rumor carriers, telling them that camp would be open by 24th of this month. This rumor the nysc management through their official facebook and twitter page disclaimed.
But not long after anothr date was rumored to be the stream2 camping date, July 4th 2017.
Reasons Why I believe This Date Is True.
1. July 4th previously, was set aside as stream2 camping date by the NYSC on their Yearly Planner Almanac, together with that of stream 1 to be 6th June and to be ended by 27th June.

2. The passing out parade date for batch A 2016 was shifted to an earlier date than the initial 24th May set aside for it, so that it will enable nysc conduct the orientation of 17A stream1 by 23rd May. The orientation of 17AS1 was done earlier than expected so that the date for 17AS2 wont be ultered.
From the initial arrangement, the time difference between the 2 streams was just 1week and was not feasible as the camps ought to be thoroughly cleaned. By the new and ongoing arrangement, the time difference is 3 weeks and is enough.

3. A vanguard news paper article published on June 12th reported that the state cordinator of delta state in an interview revealed that stream2 will be coming up by july.

4. An announcement to the staff and students of State College Of Education, Cross Rivers State stated that the resumption of the school has been postponed because of the stream2 camping coming up by 4th of july. The school is used as a temproary orientation camp in cross rivers.

5. Stream1 corpers are saying that they were told in camp that stream2 will be coming up by 4th July.

6. Nysc has not publicly denied this date, as they also did not deny the stream1 orientation date of 23rd May, when it was rumored before officially announcing it to be the date.

An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Wednesday remanded in prison two street traders who allegedly stoned a Kick Against Indiscipline official, Moshood Ayeni to death.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr A.T. Elias, ordered that the accused should be remanded in prison custody until hearing of their bail application on June 8.

The accused – Fidelis Orichi, 18, and Jeremiah Nnanna, 21 were charged with a two-count of conspiracy and murder.



Counsel to the accused, Funmi Okoya, urged the court to grant the accused bail, arguing that they were not present at the scene of the murder.

The pleas of the accused were, however, not taken by the court for lack of jurisdiction to hear a murder case.


The Prosecutor, Sgt. Kehinde Omisakin, had told the court that the accused committed the offences on May 23 at Iyana Oworo, Oworonshoki area of Lagos.

She said that the accused and others at large, conspired to murder a KAI official, Moshood Ayeni, 36, by pelting him with stones till he lost consciousness.

“The deceased and his colleagues, in carrying out their duties, had seized the goods of the two accused who illegally displayed their wares on the roadside.

“The seized goods were dumped in the truck brought by the KAI officials.

“The act didn’t go down well with the accused and others who had their goods seized and this made them connive to murder the accused,” she said.
