Google crochet edging to have an idea. Then when you do your base circle abi na cylinder/ ring, you do an edging that corresponds with the number of stitches in your base. Ie. Most edging will have a repetition of a set number of stitches e.g the pattern repeats every 10 stitches so your base ring will be in multiple of 10.
Then most likely finish the with a slip stitch /picot sticth as the last round.

To add stiffness... i believe you will need to starch and dry it on a maniquine head or bowl or something, to help maintain its shape.

I hope i am making sense...

Please note  the  base is  NOT universal,  so  it is  per  brand  and  usually it will fit  a particular  car seat(s) of  a brand  so make sure you get  them  together. 

Does your  toddler  also have a  car seat? Ideally  both kids  will need  to  be  strapped in. 
For  this one  you may decide to  get   the  convertible type . You do not need  a  base  for  this  as  you do not need  to carry it up and  down.  So  this  one  you fix with the  car seat belt.

Dn't know what other brand to buy sef with all these recent reviews abt molfix, pampers n Co. My son uses pampers premium care but I need a good, cheaper one for lil bun's early days

I tied my stomach from the second day of delivery and then I got a postpartum belt all these didn't help. My belly was still big. But with time I took my mind off it and now everyone keeps hailing me that my flat belly is back

If you can't wait it out, then cut down on your intake of carbs and exercise

Car seat is very important.
Get the convertible,that way you can use it for longer.
Rides are better with songs, so get CDs or use your phone and sing along.
Or play..... ' I sight', it distracts the ones that can talk.

does it make sense to visit hospital cos of morning all day sickness?

it's been almost five days without been able to keep any food down in my stomach.. I vomit it all out.. I don't have appetite either except for bland foods like pap or sugarless oat which I end up vomiting..

I also cant drink water.. it makes me vomit.

I tried ginger tea today to stop the nausea but it's works for an hour or two and nausea is back again..

I've lost a lot of weight, and I think I may be dehydrated cos I've not been drinking water (although I don't know how dehydration feels)

I'm very weak to do much or even walk around.

is this how severe it should be or I should visit the hospital ..

please help.. I'm losing my mind right now (I cry sometimes especially when I feel so hungry but I know I can't eat cos of zero appetite and nausea at the same time).. I'll be resuming work next week.. and I'm terribly afraid on how I will cope.

**im currently on a week bed rest after been discharged from the hospital on three days admission..my scan showed threatened abortion..hence the bed rest** so right now everything is OK with the pregnancy and the baby..

prior to admission, morning sickness was under control and I was very OK and healthy.. I wonder if I'm reacting to a medication they gave me at the hospital. it's called Cyclogest.. it's inserted into the V twice a day. it's progesterone

Sorry mama, just pray it all packs up in second trimester n u won't even remember all this u'r going thru right now as long as the medication is working for ur baby.....but then again, Cyclogest might not be d culprit o cos I used it in my first pregnancy, had very mild morning sickness which was actually in d mornings lol I thought it was cyclogest until this second time around that I didn't use it and had the full dose of "morning sickness" that ran even through d night for d whole first trimester before I exonerated cyclogest. U'll be fine, thank God u'r being monitored. E pele

lol at least u can plan when u want giddybaby's bro to come. Breastfeeding stops AF for some women; bodies differ. I did 6mths EBF n supplemented with formula n food frm 6mths to abt 13m, but breastfeeding was still the main course. Then I reduced day nursing to abt twice, but still breastmilk buffet at night lol gradually till we eventually weaned at 15mths. It was when I reduced d day nursing at abt 14mths that AF resumed n I was back here exactly that 15th mth that I weaned completely so u see that bodies differ n for sm women, it's hereditary. It was like that for my mum n all my sisters. But we all know it's risky, u might take in the same month u weaned without period n continue to think AF is still on her sabbatical. U better go put on ur "armour" too like Sansa143 did
