Awwww! I can understand...bodies differ. wen I reduced active breastfeeding at 6 months, AF came at 7th month and I took in for my daughter at the 8th month. You've tried as well for him, wean him and see if your system resets but I doubt if the breastfeeding caused it cos lactational ammenohoea is mostly effective in the 1st 6 months

i'm guessing mine may be hereditary....or something. it was exactly same way with my mum; her periods wld never resume until she weans but immediately she does, AF wld show n she wld take in that same month if she didn't play safe. And as for weaning my son, dnt know y bt it seems I jst love breastfeeding him so much stopping is so hard even though ppl around us think he's too big already to still be nursing n he can suck for d universe so I know weaning him is going to be war but i'm planning to try end of this month sha, hope we succeed

Would have loved to do tandem breastfeeding too or baby-led weaning at least but I think my body system is saying MBANU My son is almost 14 months old now n AF is still on break......cos we'r still breastfeeding I guess. Even though we resumed "duties" 3wks postpartum, we haven't had any accidental discharge.It seems my cycle will only "reset" when I wean. Dragging my feet to wean yet psychologically yearning for second missionary journey; been symptom spotting for a couple months sef

smh @ the bolded. Sm ppl can be so annoying when they do this. Na so one older family friend who was calling when my son was already 5 mths old to congratulate me n was asking if baby was crawling yet. I said he's only jst dragging his bum-bum n she was like "he's slow o, n u said he's big o how come he's nt crawling yet? Even my son (who's almost thru wt secondary school by d way) that was very skinny was already sitting at 3 months" n she kept repeating that my baby's lazy o, this n that. I was like "tor, is 5 mths too late for a baby to crawl??! I sha cannot make him crawl if he's nt ready to n then again ur question was if he was crawling yet at 5months nt when did he sit? when I told DH he said "u sef like tory, even if they ask u if he's started walking at 5 months, u tell them 'of course! In fact he's running around the house as we speak'" A neighbor was asking me at 10mths if he was walking n I told her he's started taking random couple of steps here n there n she said "n he seemed like he was going to be fast o" helloooo, 10mth pikin too late to waka? :olol I carry nyansh for ppl n their competition/comparison. The same ppl that advised u earlier nt to make a baby boy sit until 5mths cos of their back (abi na spine ) wl start telling u at 8mths that his mates r running around already

Yes, the immunization card has it but they don't book it at Government hospital. In fact, I asked for clarification that day we took our 14 weeks vaccine to be sure if they are not making mistake, cos the next appointment they booked was 9 months. May be not everywhere sha.

There is for 12 months, but they booked us for 15 months. And I took my time to ask those that have older child than my boy in the church, they said its always for 15 months and that is when the immunization certificate will be given.

lol na real confusion everywhere. My son took the first dose of Vit. A at 6 months, first measles vaccine at 9 months. They used to give 2nd measles vaccine + 2nd Vit.A dose (I think) at 1yr but they told us at 9 months that it's now until 18 months n I know some r still giving at 1yr

Which wan be "una no dey hear word?" like people can't decide how n when they want to have their babies many of the ladies on my birth club on baby center #october2015 have had another baby. N me sef have been hungry-ing for another since 2 wks postpartum It's a couple's decision to make nt some aunty nurse's ; plan ur family as u deem best especially if u'r capable health wise n financially.

Onegai my son is the same but for us it's nt new so i'm used to it. The only place I make sure he doesn't enter with me is the bathroom but he still cries even though the door is left open so he can see i'm nt escaping anywhere I believe we'll miss this phase someday n be asking "where did the days go?"
