Ok. Is it only in Abia that they are protesting?? Everything Abia posted by AbnTv and IgbereTv pops straight to front page. Seems like AbnTv and IgbereTV (both owned by Orji Uzor Kalu) has paid NL to bring all there topics to FP. PS. OUK is from Igbere #My_Opinion |

Ekejoestar:Thanks to God no life was lost. They were just shooting as a show of force. Later now they will say unknown gunmen this and that and now start Python dance |
Barely 2 hours after the brouhaha, traffic started as usual. If an attack really took place, the streets would be empty.

Barely hours after the RRS officers were done with their shooting, traffic resumed

The purported claim that gun men invaded Aba today is FALSE . The reason behind the shootings was that an argument ensued between a white sienna driver and a keke driver, they were arguing at Number 1 (Azikiwe road). A police man on mufti (SARS/RRS) who decided to intervene on the power of his uniform was beaten up. He however managed to call his colleagues who on reaching the scene fired randomly into the air. Hereby causing the entire people there to run helter skelter. Soldiers positioned at Bata junction now blocked the road (Bata junction) on hearing gunshots. Probably to protect themselves. Officers at CPS (Central Police Station) Aba also fired shots into the air. Traffic was grounded and people were now running everywhere. Rumours now started flying about that gunmen were attacking CPS. Already the topic has hit Nairaland Frontpage already. There was no injury or loss of lives. But the windscreens of the vehicles at the point the argument started were all smashed. Rumour is that the RRS officers are responsible. Normalcy has since returned as the soldiers have already removed there road block at Bata Junction

I decided to take a moment off my schedule to snap pictures of Osisioma flyover, to debunk the claims of some ........ that the flyover is still abandoned. The flyover was left so that the contractors handling Enugu-PH road (Arab contractors) could reach to the Aba section and work together with the contractors handling the flyover. A special lane has been marked out by Arab contractors for those going to ply the flyover to do so without interrupting flow of traffic along the express.

"This is Port-Harcourt road as at today. Contractors have resumed work on this all important road with a mandate to deliver at least two lane of the proposed six lane. Cleaning and excavation has been done from Asa-Nnetu down to crystal park as well as the fine grading. They are currently working from crystal park heading to Uratta junction. Note that the massive underground drainage system that will take the flood water away from these roads to Aba river is undergoing simultaneously"
