Just to enlighten the less informed, the federal government does not provide any training material for recruits into the police force. There are a few handouts and they could cost as much as 20,000 but all this books are yours to keep after the training. People usually have the option of buying this items themselves. Npf always give them out at a subsidized rate, compared to buying it from shops located inside the police colleges.


Everything is not corruption and it saddens my heart that alot of people reading this post are quick to jump into conclusion....

I do not think that there will be any problem whatsoever .. you can either ask the person paying to send it in two instalments or notify your account officer. Those are the two sure solutions.

I've had similar encounter in the past and all I did was scream at the branch manager basically because I'm a uniform man . What worked for me might not work for you though.
