The fundamental question to ask is “why are we Nigerians so dishonest “ and pls. don’t give the answer because of poverty, there are many poor people who have integrity, but WE! I live in the part of the world where the moment you say you are Nigerian, people pack their bags, it is such a shame! There is no check and balance in the country.
Everything started from those corrupt leaders who turned down the law to suit their evil agenda.
Look at our judicial system, Ibori was accused on 12 count charges and he went free in Nigeria, UK accused him on 2 count charges and he got some years behind bar.
Our laws ain't effective in this country anymore, that's why offenders are getting multiplied day by day.
The heart of man is evil, but where there is effective penalty for carrying out such evil, men tend to tame the evil in them.
But such isn't our case in Nigeria, evil doers go scot-free.
