I. CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

THE JOB - Will oversee, manage and direct the activities and business operations of the Group, working with the GMD, in order to achieve and sustain peak performance and continual growth. MBA and other relevant professional qualification(s) will be added advantage. Must also have acquired minimum of 12 years relevant cognate experience, at least 6 of which must have been at managerial level.

Required knowledge, skills and competencies will include: Strategic Thinking and Strategic Management, Good managerial and leadership skills, Corporate Networking, good negotiations and communication skills; good knowledge of industry, product and competition; sound knowledge of legal and regulatory framework.

II. HEAD, HUMAN RESOURCES MGT

THE JOB– Will be responsible for: the overall strategic management of the Group’s human resources. His specific duties will include design/review of appropriate organisation structure; development of Job Descriptions and Key Performance Indicators for all positions; manpower planning; recruitment and on-boarding; staff performance appraisal and management; training and manpower development; compensation management, staff welfare management, employee engagement and counseling; handling discipline and consequence management issues; exit management; maintenance of employee records, among other duties and responsibilities

THE PERSON – The ideal candidate must have a good Bachelor degree in a Management or Social Science discipline (MBA and/or Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria will be added advantage). Must have minimum of 7 years quality experience in HR Management function in reputable organization(s).

Assure cost effective and timely supply of biomass to the organization’s cement plants. Develop additional biomass sources for the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To contribute with the Industrial Ecology RVP and Biomass Director to the definition of the Biomass strategy, through a detailed analysis of the market: Available streams, customers, tonnage, price levels, competitions, competing technologies, legislation, for our different biomass business models: forestry maintenance activity, agriculture waste, captive plantations.
2. To insure full compliance with all relevant legislation as well as with all values of the organization in general and the safety policies in particular.

VACANCY FOR REGISTERED NURSE:

A well established hospital requires the service of a registered nurse in Ibadan.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
• Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Registered Nurse Skills and Qualifications:

Clinical Skills, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Nursing Skills, Physiological Knowledge, Administering Medication, Medical Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Graduate/Registered Nurse with Double Honours.
2years hands on experience.
