Politics / Why The Youths Should Be More Concerned About Anti Corruption War! by untildotcom: 4:32pm On Apr 13, 2017 |
#copied! Excerpt from a Gentleman and a friend! The anti-corruption war is not about Buhari. It is not about anyone 50 years and above. It is about you, 40 years and below. And you are in the majority right now in Nigeria. It is about your future and that of your kids. It is about your happiness, prospects, welfare, employment opportunities, pride and honour. Do you know how old President Buhari is? If you don't, let me help you. PMB is 75 years. With God's blessing of long life, he gets another 25 years at most but you have many more years ahead of you. Buhari, shouldn't be leading the war against corruption, you should. Buhari's generation, got the best out of Nigeria. They had free education, scholarships and guess what? Jobs and cars waiting for them on graduation. You left school five years ago, you still can't find a job. You thought more degrees would give you an advantage and so you struggled to do your post-graduate but still no jobs. You're the one who should be leading the war on corruption not Buhari who in the real sense, has no more stake beyond leaving a country better than he met it. Now, instead of you to join PMB in his modest efforts to fight corruption no matter how imperfect it is, you're ignorantly joining up with the corrupt elements to attack the president. You're like the dog that is trapped but is threatening to bite anyone who tries to rescue her. Buhari, does not need the stress of the anti-corruption war if not for his abiding personal principles. It is easier and more profitable to him and his family to loot the treasury and safeguard and secure the future of his immediate families and generations to come. After all we have past leaders, accused of massive corruption going around in affluence and power without any questions or hints of prosecution. President Buhari deserves praise not insults. When you're tempted to insult PMB next time, think about this: it is not about Buhari but you. Nigeria has been good to Buhari and his generation. If you cannot say Nigeria has been good to you, join Buhari in his anti-corruption war. |

That a man chooses to do what is right, the so called youths who are supposed to be the leaders of tomorrow are busy critising the governor. Our society can never achieve anything with lazy, lackadaisical, inefficient and unserious attitude towards work. Everyone must sit up! Kudos Governor Ayade, if bankers can get to office by 7am I see no reason a civil servant can't make it before 8am. 3 Likes |

For me, I want more manufacturing centers than religious centers to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the society. I'm not selfish like you pastor who cares for himself and his household. I want to see more people working and gainfully employed in a society filled with so many manufacturing centers. |

HOW TO WORSHIP THE NIGERIAN GOD The Nigerian god is one. It may have many different manifestations, but it is essentially different sides of the same coin. Sometimes, adherents of the different sides may fight and kill each other. But Nigerians essentially follow the Nigerian god. This article is for all those who want to become better worshipers. If you are a new or prospective convert, God will bless you for choosing the Nigerian god. This is just how you must worship him. First, you must understand that being a worshiper has nothing to do with character, good works or righteousness. So the fact that you choose to open every meeting with multiple prayers does not mean that you intend to do what is right. The opening prayer is important. Nothing can work without it. If you are gathered to discuss how to inflate contracts, begin with an opening prayer or two. If you are gathered to discuss how to rig elections, begin with a prayer. The Nigerian god appreciates communication. When you sneak away from your wife to call your girlfriend in the bathroom, and she asks if you will come this weekend, you must say—in addition to “Yes”—“By God’s grace” or “God willing”. It doesn’t matter the language you use. Just add it. The Nigerian god likes to be consulted before you do anything, including a trip to Obudu to see your lover. When worshipping the Nigerian god, be loud. No, the Nigerian god is not hard of hearing. It is just that he appreciates your loud fervour, like he appreciates loud raucous music. The Nigerian god doesn’t care if you have neighbours and neither should you. When you are worshipping in your house, make sure the neighbours can’t sleep. Use loud speakers even if you are only two in the building. Anyone who complains must be evil. God will judge such a person. This is how the Nigerian god judges people who are your enemies- evil people who want to spoil your hustle; like your colleagues who don’t want your promotion; like your single old aunties who secretly don’t want you to marry that rich handsome man (who you haven’t met yet); like all your neighbours who are stopping you from getting pregnant: He violently consumes them by fire. He returns all their evil plans back to sender. So when making requests about all your enemies, do not pray that they be forgiven or that they change. Pray that the Nigerian god kills them off with such violent finality that there is nothing left of them. Attribute everything to the Nigerian god. So, if you diverted funds from public projects and are able to afford that Phantom, when people say you have a nice car, say, “Na God”. If someone asks what the secret of all your wealth is, say, “God has been good to me”. By this you mean the Nigerian god who gave you the uncommon wisdom to re-appropriate public funds. Consult the Nigerian god when you don’t feel like working. The Nigerian god understands that we live in a harsh climate where it is hard to do any real work. So, if you have no clue how to be in charge and things start collapsing, ask people to pray to God and ask for his intervention. The Nigerian god loves elections and politics. When you have bribed people to get the Party nomination, used thugs to steal and stuff ballot boxes, intimidated people into either sitting at home or voting for you, lied about everything from your assets to your age, and you eventually, (through God’s grace), win the elections, you must begin by declaring that your success is the wish of God and that the other candidate should accept this will of God. It is not your fault whom the Nigerian god chooses to reward with political success. How can mere mortals complain? The Nigerian god does not tolerate disrespect. If someone insults your religion, you must look for anyone like them and kill them. Doesn’t matter what you use—sticks, machetes, grenade launchers, IED’s, AK47’s. If the person who insults your religion is online and you can't locate them, feel free to threaten to kill them. Like we say in Nigeria: "at all-at all na im bad pass". Something is better than nothing at all. The Nigerian god performs signs and wonders. He does everything from cure HIV to High BP. And the Nigerian god is creative: he can teach a person who was born blind the difference between blue and green when the man of god asks, and he can teach a person born deaf instant English. As a worshipper you must let him deliver you because every case of sickness is caused by evil demons and not infections. Every case of barrenness is caused by witches and has no scientific explanation. So instead of hospital, visit agents of the Nigerian god. But the Nigerian god does not cure corruption. Do not attempt to mock him. If you worship the Nigerian god, you are under no obligation to be nice or kind to people who are not worshippers. They deserve no courtesy. The Nigerian god is also online. As a worshipper, you are not obliged to be good or decent on Facebook or Twitter all week except on Friday and Sunday, both of which the Nigerian god marks as holy. So you may forward obscene photos, insult people, forward lewd jokes on all days except the holy days. On those holy days, whichever applies to you, put up statuses saying how much you are crazy about God. These days, the Nigerian god also permits tweets and Facebook updates like: "Now in Church" or "This guy in front of me needs to stop dozing" when performing acts of worship. In all, the Nigerian god is very kind and accommodating. He gives glory and riches and private jets. And if you worship him well, he will immensely bless your hustle. Written by Elnathan John |

engineerboat: I pay my taxes dude, that's where government gets money from to build roads and provide other basic amenities. It's called IGR. What is your own contribution? None! You run a church and don't pay taxes so we are not of the same contributory level. You benefit from my taxes dude! Why do we have more religious centers than productive centers in Nigeria? You think! Pastor think! You depend solely on the divine for everything. |

Yes, I had to let you know so you don't think I'm talking about what I do not have understanding for. Low minds like you refuse to argue within context but will be quick to attack the person's personality. I'm not a religious fanatic, for your information the world has gone light years ahead and you will still keep depending on them for your transistor radio with such a mentality you have. You will definitely be jealous judging from the type of mentality you have! No country grows with religion as the front burner! You've not answered this question. Do religious schools built by religious organisations engage in Examination malpractice? I need an answer please. |

It cost thousands of naira. If I tell you my chain of businesses you'll be jealous, so forget it. |

Alawe:You may not really understand what religion does to the psyche of the people. It makes people lazy and depend on the divine for everything. Don't forget Nigeria got independence in 1960 and six years later trouble started. Why didn't we keep insisting on building our country despite all the challenges? Like someone said most of the mega churches started in the 80's where they to advantage of the desperate situation in the country. Singapore went through tough times, go and read 'From third world to first,' by Lee Kuan Yew. In the 70's or 80's the Chinese used bicycle as means of transport. The world mocked them but they were planning for the future, they made a law for every family to have one child, that's strategic planning. Today they are a superpower borrowing Nigeria money that were once richer than them. Have you been to churches were members pray for employment, infact the pastor will organise a programme for the unemployed youths in the church, he will ask them to sow to seed to gain employment. This youths will keep praying month in month out with no job. Jobs can never be gotten through this way. It's a way churches scan their members and make money off them. If you don't think religion plays a major role in the way this county is like this, why has our warehouses turn to worship centres and we see nothing wrong with it? 1 Like |

engineerboat: This dude doesn't get it at all. In most advanced countries, you can't find bill boards of religious centres inviting the public for one programme or the other like you do in Nigeria and Africa. Infact you have more billboards advertising religious centers than you have advertising products. You also have more sign post of churches than sign post of factories What does that tell you about the society? You don't still get the drift, do you? How do you compare a society like ours with religious centers in every nook and cranny with a society with research centers, space centers, laboratories and factories. The difference is clear! One represents a people who are focused on religion as panacea to solving societal problems while the other believes in solving societal problems through research and development. |

engineerboat:Oga the argument wasn't about me but about the proliferation of religious centers in a society where manufacturing and productive centers are non existent. You don't expect me to start listing my business ventures online do you? But know that I pay tax and I have a TIN, which I know you don't. I have my RC certificate from CAC. what do you do if I may ask? Are you a religious leader? |

paschu: The first statement takes me back to the earlier point I made that rather than focus on building a vibrant nation we decided to seek divine intervention in religious centers. According to reports, 11 million Nigerian youths are unemployed, tell me if those religious centers were manufacturing factories, would we still have this rate of unemployment in the country? The answer is No. The so called schools owned by the religious centers will still graduate students into the society where there are more religious centers than factories. Nigerians are leaving because there are no jobs, they are tired of seeking divine intervention in a physical situation and have decided to seek greener pastures elsewhere. You have said it yourself, we need to encourage people to build more factories rather than religious centers. |
Politics / Re: How I Wish Most Of These Were Manufacturing Companies In Our Country by untildotcom: 8:26pm On Mar 21, 2017 |
engineerboat:That is not an achievement please, I can also assemble youths in my village and train them in various areas I choose and at the end give them needed tools to start their trade, people do it so it doesn't justify anything. It's only a way for you to be able to justify the monies you get from desperate members so they won't start asking questions. |
Politics / Re: How I Wish Most Of These Were Manufacturing Companies In Our Country by untildotcom: 8:22pm On Mar 21, 2017 |
engineerboat:Oga Pastor, I see that you are threatened by the new wave of ideology currently flowing and you know what that will be when people come to the realization that waiting on the divine intervention for physical things to come into place will never happen but rather but a concerted effort to change the status quo will. Why do people want to travel abroad if I may ask you? How many people from other countries want to leave their countries with speed the way we do? You talk about failed government, yes that's why I said that rather than we insisting on building a nation when we got independence, we ran to our various religious centers to seek for divine intervention. Countries that stood their grounds and fought for their future are better off now, Brazil, India, Singapore. Today Nigeria flock to India to seek medical care meanwhile in Ngeria we have more religious centers than manufacturing companies and hospitals put together. Is it the duty of the religious centers to do all the listed items above? So you have agreed with me that there's so much emphasis on religion such that, they have now taken the place of education in the society, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship training etc. Is that what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about? Religious centers are there to rip people off while making them feel good about thier hopeless state. Like I said that's why schools, hospitals are in shambles and only the religious centers and their schools look good. Let me also ask, these so called schools built by religious centers, do you guys engage in examination malpractice and other malpractices? The answer is yes, so who is fooling who? Please do these schools set up by religious centers indulge in Examination malpractice and cheating? |

engineerboat:I won't go about telling you about myself but take it from me from I've employed more people than you if at all you are an employer of labour and my business is still expanding year in year out and I pay my taxes which has been use to put up infrastructures for the non tax paying organisations and people like you to make use of. |

Why do Nigerians keep flooding embassies and high commissions of other countries to get visa and leave even when they have more than enough religious centers. It's simple! Lack of productivity - jobs because there are no factories to aid production 1 Like |
