but if I had graduated with first class, my department in my university would have retained me without stress. There wouldn't have bin any need for me to be looking for teaching job in high schools..

The class you graduated with shouldnt deter you besides even if your school had retained you ,does that determine the pay at the end of the day would be enough Come to think of it ,how much is actually enough? We all seek for more. Stop feeling that graduating with first class would is the solution to better life. My school mate and friend graduated with second class lower and just yesterday ,he turned down a job offer of 210k.
So dear friend you can get to the top with determination, focus and prayer. and not compulsorily by first class.
Getting first class is good. i narrowly missed it too while in school as well but i didnt let that stop me. You would be suprised that some secondary schools can pay you as much as that your lecturer job may have paid. Schools like regent school abuja n the likes.
