Life is based on fountain and yardstick of
reality.
The present agitation of Biafra is a display of
stupidity.Let me go by the fact and figures to
backup the above statement. In 2003 presidential
election in Nigeria, the true founder of Biafra,
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu contested for
the Nigerian presidential poll ,He has total votes
of
1297445 which it is 3.2% of total votes casted
while
OBJ and GMB had 24456140 and 12710022
respectively. Ojukwu was defeated with wide
margin by OBJ in both southeast and south
south in
2003. In 2007 presidential election, Ojukwu had
a
bitter experience from both southeast and south
south like a deserter.Late Umaru Yar' Adua has
total votes of 24638063,GMB had total votes of
6605299 while the legend founder of Biafra, late
Ojukwu was only had total votes of 155947
which it
is 0.44% of total casted votes in Nigeria. Both
Southeast and south south voted late Umaru
Yar'Adua massively at the expense of late
Ojukwu.Ojukwu was defeated so unquestionable
by
Yar'Adua in SE and SS.The votes, affection and
support given to Jonathan by the easterners in
2015
presidential election was never given to Ojukwu
the
Biafra founder in the two times he contested for
the
presidential poll. If truly Ojukwu haven't
swallowed
the dream of Biafra, why he contested to be the
president of republic of Nigeria in 2003 and
2007?
His wife Bianca after his death was made the
Nigerian Ambassador to Spain. His son, Mr
Emeka
Ojukwu, also contested in the 2015 Federal
House
of Representatives election in Nigeria. These
same
set of Biafran agitators were the same people
saying No Jonathan No Nigeria till 2019 but
when
Jonathan was defeated the motto is now : Biafra
or i
die. Today they are claiming to be the truly
descendent of Ojukwu but where were those
Biafran agitators when Ojukwu was lagging
behind
with just one hundred fifty-five, nine hundred
and
forty-seven votes in 2007 and defeated in his
own
state ? The major reason for this Biafran
agitation is
the defeat of Jonathan nothing else. |

1.Pharmacy: This is one of the most dreaded as well as most rewarding courses to study in Nigerian universities. Having to memorize great details and engage in clinically oriented programmes makes pharmacy complex. Pharmaceutical courses like pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical microbiology (PMB) are neither for the lover of fun or the faint of heart. 2. Dentistry: This is a dangerous combination of medicine and oral health in one course. It may not be very popular among Nigerians and may not enjoy the regard its colleague; MBBS enjoys. But make no mistake, these dental students pass through hell to become professionals. If you doubt me, try Uniben. 3. Veterinary Medicine: The reasons are similar to that of dentistry. Most people think vet medicine is cheap simply because it centres on animal health but I would want you to understand that in addition to the agricultural and entrepreneurial aspects of the course, it has everything to do with physiology, pathology, histology and pharmacology 4. Medicine: One of the reasons medicine ranks here is because its students on the average get more pampered than the others. In Uniben , it is nearly not possible for first year medical students to fail their courses. It is unheard of and nearly unthinkable. It could be because they are great scholars; it could also be because they are well pampered even more than their close friends - the dental students. 5. Engineering: All the calculus, thermodynamics, fluid, mechanics, gruesome engineering labs (ELA) and manual requirements? You have to show some respect, and love as well. 6. Optometry: This is no place for merry- makers and unserious minds. In simple terms, optometry will drill you mercilessly if you should mess with them. The only way out is to read; bribing is usually not even in question. 7. Law: Law is another stressful course that I must mention. those guys also drink big text books like mad so as to be able to defend justice any time anywhere. This is why I love law more than the lawyers themselves. 8. Biochemistry: A biochemist they say is naturally ahead of U....Believe me I pity those guys when I see them going nuts studying those wicked pathways. This course is particularly disasterous in FUTO, AAUA and Uniben. A trial will convince you. U CANT BEAT THE REACH cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy. 9. Physics: Most of the ones I know simply memorize and pour out the knowledge on exam day. Trying to understand what many of their lecturers do not understand is suicidal and they know it. Additionally, physic lecturers are usually far from nice. I wonder if they are still mourning the electrocution of Michael Faraday. 10. Computer Science: Have you heard about FORTRAN? Heard about PASCAL? Programming? Even scholars get humbled in this department. It would seem that only skilled people excel here. The academically brilliant merely survive. Worthy mentions include philosophy and some courses that have to do with too much theories. Is the scenario the same in your school or different? Let me hear from you. |

The Age of Miracles QUESTION: -- Most of the older members of the church tell me that the age of miracles has ended. But I can't find anyone who can give me the passage of Scripture that teaches that. Can you provide me with the Scriptures? ANSWER: -- In order to answer this, we must first define "miracle" and then determine the purpose of the miracles. Many people are willing to call anything they cannot explain a miracle: the birth of a baby, a close escape from an automobile accident, etc. But a miracle is not just an unusual incident; it is a "supernatural" event. An event that not only does not act in accord with natural law, but even contradictsthe laws of nature. Jesus healed the sick -- completely and instantaneously -- contrary to the laws of medicine and nature. As He told the disciples of John, "Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see: the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good tidings preached to them" (Matthew 1:4,5). Miraculous powers were also given to the apostles. Peter healed a lame man (Acts 3:1-6), a paralytic (Acts 9:32-35), and raised the dead (Acts 5:12-16), and Peter was miraculously released from prison (Acts 12:1-11). The apostle Paul writes of the "gifts of the Holy Spirit" (I Corinthians 12:7-11): "But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit: to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit; and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; an to another the interpretation of tongues; but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to such one severally even as He will." Let us notice these nine gifts, and what they were. The nine gifts named were: "Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miracles, Prophecy, Discerning of spirits, Tongues, Interpretation of tongues." These were all "gifts." That is, they were not acquired through natural means, but given directly by the Holy Spirit. With us, we acquire wisdom by experience and observation, knowledge by study, faith by hearing the Word of God (Roman 10:17), etc. But the apostles, and other inspired people of the early church, had no New Testament Scriptures to turn to for guidance, so they had to have guidance from God in some other way. That way was by the direct inspiration by the Holy Spirit, those gifts from the spirit are listed above. There are numerous examples in the Bible of miraculous healings, miracles of various kinds and prophecy (speaking from God). This was all made possible by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gift of prophecy enabled one to "speak from God" -- as the apostles did on Pentecost, they "Spoke as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:4). And when the apostles went "into all the world and preached the gospel" (Mark 16:15), "They went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed" (Mark 16:20). That clearly shows the purpose of thsoe miraculous gifts: to deliver the Word of God and confirm It by signs (miracles). This is stated also in (Hebrews 2:4), "God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own Will." And it is said of the miracles of Jesus: "Thse are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that, believing, ye might have life in His name" (John 20:31). God tells us clearly that these "gifts of the Holy Spirit" were to cease. In (I Corinthians 12), the apostle Paul lists those gifts (above). Then in the next chapter, he wrote: "Love never faileth: but whether there by prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when that which is perfect is come, that whcih is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I hae put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly but then face to face; now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known" (I Corinthians 13:8-12). Notice that each gift was a "part". But when "the perfect" was come, the parts were to cease. The expression "the perfect" is from the Greek "to telion" which literally means: "complete, full-grown, fully developed." So, when the revelation of God's Word was completed, and confirmed, then the "parts" were done away. Note that Paul says, "For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face; now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even also I was fully known" (I Corinthians 13:12). This is explained by James, "But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves. For if any one is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror; for he beholdeth himself, and goeth away, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing" (James 1:22-25). Some contend that these "gifts of the Spirit" were to continue until Christ comes, and we then see Him and the Father "face to face." But look at the passage again: "Now we see in a mirror, darkly, but then face to face" (I Corinthians 13:12). No one looks into a mirror to see God, or anyone else. We look into a mirror to see ourselves. To shave, to put on makeup, etc., we need to see "face to face." That is the purpose of the mirror. And the Word of God is "the perfect law of liberty" (James 1:25), a spiritual mirror, into which we look to see our spiritual condition as God reveals it in His Word. That is what Paul says in I Corinthians 13. Because we have the revealed and written Word of God, confirmed (proved) by the miracles which the apostles did, we no longer need those "parts" which brought it into existence. So they have ceased, been done away. And that includes all the miracles -- healing, raising the dead, etc. So, yes, the age and purpose of miracles have ended. Because we have the completed Word of God confirmed by these miracles and therefore there is no more need for such miracles. |
- ..arguing for ur selfish interest::::::: Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.::::also we re not under d old laws.. Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. |

He said, “I have always served Nigeria to the best of my ability. I have always tried to give more to the nation than it has given me. This is the principle of service that has guided my public life. Thus, I am not a rich person. I can’t give you a pocketful of dollars or naira to purchase your support. Even if I could, I would not do so. The fate of this nation is not up for sale. “What I will give you, and this nation is all of my strength, commitment, sweat and toil in the service of the people. What I can give you is my all. “I do not intend to rule Nigeria. I want to democratically govern it with your help. I seek a Nigeria where Christians and Muslims may practise their faiths in peace and security; a Nigeria that is just and where corruption no longer trespasses into our institutions and national behavior and a Nigeria where our diversity could be used for our national prosperity. “Nigeria is our home. Let us now turn it into the great nation we know it can and should be.” ...dat is buharis' speech... fool |
