A Twitter user from South Africa took to the popular micronews blogging platform to share how he saved a man from what would have been gloom and doom for the victim.

According to the user @Bhorholo_Feli, he picked up a laptop bag that contained a lot of valuables which the owner must have misplaced somewhere. There was a laptop, a diary and twelve (12) wages envelop fully packed.

He immediately went through the diary he found inside the bag, dialed the number of the owner, and told him to come and pick up his belongings. The good Samaritan confirmed that the owner has picked up his things and would have killed himself because no one seemed to believe him before luck shined on him. He advised people to be good and not to put their own interest above that of others with lost items.

The Egyptians’ consecration of cats began when the goddess, Bastet was depicted with the head of a cat. She was believed to represent mystery, the night, and the moon.

Additionally, it was thought that Bastet helps both human beings and animals to reproduce, recover from illnesses, and protect dead souls. So, the Egyptians treat cats reverentially because of Bastet. There was also a law that prohibited the sale, abuse, or murder of cats in ancient Egypt. Killing a cat was a capital offense then, such that its penalty was death.

• HOW IT STARTED

Norway and US scientists wanted to conduct a test off the northwestern coast of Norway. They admittedly notified the Russian federation of the tests they wanted to carry out but somehow, the message never got to the appropriate quarters (Russian Defense Agency) before the launch date.

On January 25, 1995, a team of Norwegian and US scientists launched a Black Brant XII rocket from the Andøya Rocket Range in the northwestern part of the country as planned.

It does feel unbecoming when one is faced with acts of disrespect regardless of the situation or from whom it comes from.

The bad side of allowing disrespect to fly for the first time is that you may not be able to control same in the future and so decide to start letting things slide.

Some people are wired to take advantage of people who let things slide. But, it doesn’t get better from there. Sooner than later, the same things you have been allowing will start to be a source of worry in your relationship with the person.

As soon as you see the sign, like when they start becoming full of themselves and intentionally disrespect you, just nip it in the bud. It’s your duty not to allow someone get comfortable with disrespecting you. You got to be selfish with your self worth, it is all you have.
