Spiderman 3 Crosses $1Billion at the Box Office Barely a Week After Release, Battle at Lake Changjin Rakes $900m+

Marvel Comics and Disney owned Marvel Cinematic Universe latest debut, Spiderman: No Way Home has broken all box office release records this year after crossing the one billion dollar mark over the weekend.

The Covid-19 has hampered cinema going culture this year after the devastating effects the disease wreaked all over the world in 2020. The year 2021 has seen the release of various blockbusters like Wonder Woman 84, No Time to Die, F9: The Fast Saga, Godzilla v Kong, Venom: Let there be Carnage, Dune, Eternals, Black Widow, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and so many other great movies.

However, of all the big hits released this year, it's "The Battle at Lake Changjin" that came close to hitting the billion dollar mark, grossing $902,538,455 as at the time of this report.

But, apparently your favourite neighborhood friend is immune to the Covid-19 instigated low patronage at the cinemas. The third installment in the Tom Holland led Spiderman franchise apparently didn't disappoint just like the previous parts, defiling the disease to break the one billion dollar mark barely one week after its initial release on December 16, 2021.

As at the time of writing this report, Spiderman: No Way Home has a total worldwide gross of $1,054,431,855.

Tenstrings Music Institute held it's annual graduation ceremony today at the school's newly built facility in Lagos State. The ceremony saw the 2020/2021 set awarded their Diploma Certificates earned after completion of the school's regular courses during the respective academic year.

Among the graduands of the day is fast rising music producer, and owner of Uptownerd Publications, Mickey Rova. The occasion was also graced by a host of producers and performing artistes who graduated from the school.

Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe stars as Villain in new Movie "The Lost City" Alongside Sandra Bullocks & Brad Pitt

Paramount Pictures is set to release a star studded picture with Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe making appearance as one of the movies major villains.

The movie is co-produced by Sandra Bullocks who stars alongside Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum (Magic Mike), and Da'Vine Joy Randolph.

The Major Plotline: What started out as a book tour for her novel soon metamorphosed into a mysterious adventure with damning consequences when an obsession leads to belief the contents of the book is real.

Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullocks joined the movie's cast in 2020 while Daniel Radcliffe and the rest joined this year, 2021. Filming was wrapped up in summer and the epic adventure is set to debut March 25, 2022 in Cinemas next year.

The record label contract may be the biggest dream of most aspiring musicians, but it may not be totally juicy for the artist if the label is yet to recuperate from the expenses made on the artistes behalf.

Unsuspecting musicians may sign away their proprietary rights, making it difficult for them to properly reap the full benefits of their stardom. Although it is highly recommended for beginners to sign a contract after consultation with (and in the presence of) a legal professional, many hardly adhere. In the long run, the artistes may likely find themselves fighting to be free of the contract after realising what they signed away.

On the hand, there are those who learnt the lesson the hard way but eventually went independent, going on to sustain successful music careers as an indie artist.
