Aaaaarghmed:NOBODY CARE ABOUT HANDSOME OR BEAUTIFUL IN VIETNAM, INASMUCH YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE JOB, BUT MOST TIME WHITE SKIN PEOPLE GETS HIGHER HAND....BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN BLACK CANT TOO, AM A BLACK, I GOT PAID SAME SALARY AS WHITE, ALL NA LUCK |
vintiz:In addition to what you have written, and to also add my knowledge and experience here in Vietnam,.....my house is a beautiful building, I lived in the 7th floor of a 12 story building. My landlord likes me so much because maybe because I am black, I don't think he had seen a black before, most of the houses here, you don't need to bring any load, as everything is already available, I drive a bike here and I cook so I spent little on transportation and food, my house is free internet. Talking about teaching here, it's fun as most of the children have not seen black before, this make them to be curious to want to know more about you and ready to listen to you. The classroom is sometime noisy and rough as there method of teaching does not support beating and punishing a child unnecessarily....just make the children happy, that's the goal....if they are happy they will listen to you.... My salary, I earn close to 2000$ monthly as I worked over 100hours in a month at the rate of 20$/hour....I also do some partime jobs at the weekend.... though the price of the private coaching is small but any amount I earn at the weekend for private coaching, there's no way I can finish spending it during the week, because things are cheap. I forgot to say I lived in the capital HANOI city, a village in HANOI, hoi duc, the village is so lively and beautiful, I can talk more if I am free. |
Dear Nigerian teachers.. Awa lokan(its our turn) Are you a Nigerian teacher ready to japa to the UK come 2023? Well the UK government is introducing a fairer approach to awarding a qualified teacher's status (QTS) for teachers in Nigeria, Ghana, India, South Africa and some other countries starting 1st February 2023. With this new development, you do not need to go through the PGCE route to get your QTS once you meet the requirements Some of which are: 1.have an undergraduate degree of the same academic standard as a UK bachelor’s degree, as verified by UK ENIC 2.have completed teacher training that meets the standard of a Level 6 qualification and is of at least the same length as an English initial teacher training course 3.have completed a course with content that is practically and pedagogically focussed 4.be qualified to teach children aged between 5 and 16 years 5.have at least one school year (a minimum of 9 months including school holidays but excluding time out taken for any other reason) of professional experience working as a teacher after qualifying 6. have the professional status needed to be a teacher in the country where you qualified, and not be subject to any conditions or restrictions on your practice How does this translate to japa-ing? Well it simply means once you get the QTS issued by Teacher Regulation Agency (TRA) you can apply for teaching jobs with visa sponsorship and stand a chance to japa to the youkay. Isn't God wonderful? Na teacher dey reign now. Kindly visit the UK department for education website for more information. Explanation of the requirements 1. Have a bachelor’s degree in Nigeria that you will need to verify by UK ENIC. Go to their website to see how much they charge for the result verification. 2. Have a Nigerian Post graduate diploma in Education (PGDE) for those with non-education degrees 3. A Nigerian PGDE covers this requirement 5.you must have a minimum of one school session teaching experience 6. Have your TRCN licence https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-education 1. Verify your degree with UK ENIC before February https://www.enic.org.uk 2. Apply for QTS by 1st February 2023 on TRA https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/teaching-regulation-agency 3. Get QTS and start applying for UK teaching jobs. QED 💪 |

Hello Kayode, am not an agent or a consultant but I can guide you if you want! iampomping: |
iampomping:Why do you say is very expensive.....to enter Vietnam to work or study does not cost anything but your requirements, visa or visa letter if you want to get it on arrival, that is if your have sponsorship, the company shall help you with the letter, as well as student, your admission letter and other things that show you are going to study, shall grant you the visa. I hope this explains some visa stuffs Moreso, I don't know why it will be that expensive if you follow through normal process.... also be careful with those agents out there that don't have international passport but they are doing visa for people to travel out |
iampomping:Since you are not with a work permit yet, it's illegal to work here, and if you can find your way to the heart of any one that can give you a job....I believe they will short-paid you because they know it's illegal to work as a student.....any amount they offer you, you don't have a choice as they know you cannot talk. Normally pay per hour is 20-30$ for a foreign language teacher |

The major required documents to get a teaching job in Vietnam is having a first degree, unless you want to do other things (other route different from teaching) meanwhile, only route that I know of is teaching jobs which am doing here. coming to Vietnam without getting all your documents ready might be too difficult to get jobs or even work permit. I hope this answers your question, please let know other ways I can assist and sorry for late reply.l had been so busy lately. |

UDESH:May God help you achieve your goals in life, Asia is a beautiful country with cheap meals, but the government regulations change time to time....I pray it will favor you when you are set to come here |
Liadi2:I don't think so, the major requirements is bachelor degrees, unless if you want to work illegally, you can try a country like Cambodia, they don't culpulsery degree in Cambodia. I hope this is helpful |
Loving1:Yes many groups, you can try teaching jobs in VIETNAM, teaching jobs if HCMC, etc. Your search may depends on your personal preferences, you will surely see many groups, then you try to join the one with more people in it. I hope this is helpful |

cutieme:Accommodation is affordable, you can also get it both online and offline, if you need one too from me, I can help talk to some agents, even send you there details. The accomodations here comes in different types, starting from hostels and the rest, you can get an hostel as low as 20k Nigeria naira, for 7 with free breakfast daily. It all depends on your choice and your budget. A rental apartments can start from 200$month and so on, depends on your budget and taste |
cutieme:You can search online for address, they are many! |
dhensity:According to my knowledge, There's nothing like visiting visa here, they only have business and some other visas, even the business is sponsorship, the one you can get again are for specific countries which Nigeria is not part of them Most jobs here is English teacher Moreso, Vietnam is a very beautiful country that do there things on there own, that's why they are flourishing everyday, they don't want people to come anyhow to there country without having impact or offer any service that will be of benefits to them....so therefore, if you want to come, you must offer a service. |
dhensity:Is like Vietnam had stop business visa for NIGERIAN for not it's only sponsor visa they allow for NIGERIAN, that is if only you can get a business/company to sponsor you to the country |
jasonclement:It's all depends on the certificate you already had and the cost of flight when you plan to go....just keep aside like 3million, you cannot not finish it self, you will change the remaining to Dollars and take it along |
confido2017:You can get your TEFL BOTH ONLINE AND OFLINE, IF ONLINE JUST SEARCH ON GOOGLE,YOU WILL SEE MANY OF THEM |
confido2017:TEFL AND C1 PROFICIENCY IS VERY KEY |
Loving1:You earn in dollars here, also things are very cheap, if you are on a student visa, it's illegal to work with it, unless you do it secretly, but if caught, na gobe |
