Zikkie thanks dear. Nah true ooO. I normally ignore something like this act don't know what happened today. Exactly what I said that we are the ones inflicting hardship on ourselves. I pray God help us cos everybody working for government is liable to corrupt. One of their staff called pastor keep running away each time we ask him question. He said he cannot say anything about it that it's beyond his power. I know this country will be better one day. |

Just entered my room now since 9 a.m Each local government with different magomago trick but I think the one I witnessed today @ Ibadan North-West local goverment should be the worst. I was there and those people keep telling us to wait as they claimed that the E.O was in a meeting and will soon be around. The E.O eventually arrived around 1 p.m and he told us that not everybody will collect the training allowance as some people did not qualify for the work-I still had hope because I know I'm qualify in all ramification. He also claimed that INECNigera disbursed money for about 600 trainee but there are more that 1500 trainee whereas the number of people shortlisted for the screening was not more than 600- that was where my hope of collecting my #4500 started diminishing. The proble is that most of there people did not registered online but did manual stuff and INEC only send money for the number of trainee in their data base. People formed queue and started agitating for their money, me inclusive, but at the end of the day nobody collected money except there people. This is noted as only those they brought in personally were able to collect money. They claimed to be using one alien list to give people money but 95% of us that were there couldn't find our names. They only gave those they know personally and each time we asked them the criteria they used in shortlisting those names, they keep telling us opposite of what we asked. They perfected everything to the extent that once they see that your face is somehow hard, they will tell you to put down your name and persuade you that you will be called for the work. I couldn't do much, the last time I shouted the way I did today was last year. People were very disappointed and furious. In my course of shouting, I argue with some of their staff and I know some of them are acting a script. It's obvious and one of them told me that that's how things work outside school, that it's because I'm a student that's why I'm talking like that. Someone even asked them if what they are was right but they told him that, "that's way of life and that's how things work in Nigeria" How I wish I know someone can take this up. This is very very bad and I'm very very disappointed as I've lay down the way I will spend the money tonight... Lol. |
