Hello guys, I need help correcting my COREN registration process error.

While filling out the Applicant form online, I erroneously entered my GMNSE details in the Association Membership section. It appears that section is meant for MNSE holders because I paid 35,000 instead of 85,000.

Is there a way to get COREN to rectify this in their backend? Does anyone have experience with this issue or advice on how to proceed?

I just got to know that not all departments require a supervisor and/or research statement.

So worry less, and let us wait on God.

If I may ask, how did you sort out the application fee (R300)?

Did you pay for it?

You need not worry about that for now.
For UCT, one can always pay the application fee after admission has been confirmed.

Please, kindly go through the UCT website and look for a potential supervisor. Thereafter shoot Him/Her an email requesting for his/her permission to enlist them as your supervisor.

I've done that, and by the Grace of God, I've gotten a reply. Next is to proceed with the application.

I went thr on Tuesday and I was told there is no booklet until the end of the month, I went thr with the hope of getting my passport that day or next day but I was informed it's impossible, so I went to get it at Ilorin.

@Osogbo, The blooklet will start rolling in towards ending of this month and they will use it to treat the registered passports on ground, u might get it at month ending. Try to keep in touch with them thou.

Please help me with information on Ilorin. I already registered online though I'm yet to make payment. Thank you sir!

I applied during my service year. Which was 16/17 just like ND aspirants apply during their IT.

I have been admitted to Unilorin to study Civil Engineering. I applied with HND. As civil engineering is Five years, i expect to be admitted into 300 level but jamb caps is showing me 4years study, in essence, i was admitted into 200 level. And I cnt find details of my level of admission on unilorin admission portal but I'm expected to pay acceptance fee. Who else has a similar experience or someone who once applied with HND, distinction and was given admission into 200 level.
Because, I'm not interested in anything less than 300 level.

Is there any harm in having 2 recommendation letters? Since the advert says at least one volunteer experience.

Also, since the NIMC SLIP containing NIN does not include date of birth, can I just attach my birth certificate along with the NIMC slip?

Well, I get you. Even with a CGPA of 3.80/4.00 Msc abroad seams to be limited to GRE, TOEFL, .... ➕ I can't even afford it!

I'm looking for all possible scholarship means and I think I have a long short at McGill,

create an account by clicking on register now.
check your mail for confirmation and click on the highlighted words >>click here>>
it takes you to the page to fill in your bio data and upload picture not more than 600kb.
then click on save after successfully uploading ur pix.
it brings you back to that page. scroll down and click next.
here you fill in your education details. ensure you save this page too. then click next.
fill in your next of kin's detail, and submit(if you have not completed ur application it tells u where to fill)
once you correct that, you can submit>>

accept terms and conditions then apply>>
it tells you ur application was successful, click done>> and wait few minutes for acknowledgement mail.
that's all... ensure you use a computer/laptop from start to finish and you can always sign out to continue later.
just trying to paint a picture, i hope you got it.!

Yea... Been there, done that..
It happened to me while in the polytechnic. I had just seen my first result and i was devastated. I made 3As 3Bs 2Cs n 3Ds... Funny enough, the courses whre i had Ds wre GNS courses (PHE,citizenship n eng!)... Even my friends were amazed, nobody believed it..i was no. 10 on the upper credit list.. But i had to activate my spiritual mind and said 'thank God'..

I had tall dreams and a vision of where i was going. Since then and up until the time i graduated, i led my class and finished 2nd on the department's distinction list! I made those conviction of urs too and i nailed it!

But u were right about something... U see when my grade flew to the top, i became lecturer's fav. It was like secondary school again and i was oppoutuned to mark students' exam script.. Unlike me, many dudes who mark for other lecturers are mostly from other desciplines, n had no idea of whateva course they were marking. And i soon unraveled the reason why i had those Cs and Ds

In a nutshell ur resolve is great, so u should nail it with consistent hard work n prayers. Yea thats it, ur best must be enough. U'll definitely get thre. U know, when u aim for the stars theres no way ure going to miss n it wont leave an effect on u.
