onumadu: ThOSE WHO FULLY ACCEPT BEING IGBO need to sit down with the people of Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers to have a REAL conversation/negotiation on how to jointly develop the Eastern flanks of the maritime industry and economy starting with the Ibaka deep sea port. I singled out Akwa-Cross people because the people there are calm, hardworking and without any complexes, if given the opportunity. They are more "Igbo-like". Once Ibaka comes online, we link it by rail to all major trading cities in South east and focus on developing those corridors.
Be that as it may, I'm really happy that ONITSHA is leaving Port Harcourt behind in terms of economic activities. Onitsha's clout is approaching Lagos' clout, but you need to pay attention to notice it. We can make Onitsha a maritime hub too if the will is there!
Madmohamed1: anything outside Igbo land is unacceptable we must build Igbo land. We don't want tomorrow ikwere people will start to misbehave like other people. We better remain in Lagos the devil we know is better than Angel we don't know,. We leave whit South West for long time we know them they know us we fight and make Peace, South south should develop their land we can be a developer again is that a problem.
Dymaco: When it comes to federal project, it becomes eastern. Eastern port, eastern railway, eastern road but they told us south east is not south south. Una mumu no too much?

I stumbled on this video of the massive PORT complex in Port Harcourt Rivers state. I was impressive with the huge facilities that enables commercial and economic activities which igbos are pioneering in Nigeria.
With this Port facility in Rivers state, I think it's time Igbos start retreating from Lagos because whatever Lagos can provide, this port in Port Harcourt can equally provide it.
