Offers of Scholarship at undergraduate
and associate degree have been sent
to applicants who are selected for the
scholarship by 24th August 2013 via e-
mail. The candidates can find in the
letter information their universities /
faculties / departments and
procedures to follow from now on.
It’s recommended to check results by
signing in the mailbox which was given
to application system (Please also
check spam box or junk folder as some
mail providers may report it as spam
or junk).

If someone applied for Türkiye
Scholarhips at undergraduate and
associate degree and did not receive
any e-mail regarding offer of
scholarship, that means the
application result is negative. Those
applicants will be informed soon by e-
mail.

for those that have not yet gone for their visa interview, so far you got your first degree or hnd here in nigeria, ministry of foreign affair's authentication is not important (especially for postgraduate students)

however, that of the ministry of education is compulsory.

maybe you shouldnt bother yourself with the long list on their website on the info menu (to much information might be tiring).
simply follow the checklist attached to your visa appointment-i believe that is the least requirement which if you fufill, you should be sure of getting your visa.

joeakins: My brother you get mouth, dis same CIU, I have my cousin schooling over there and he is about to graduate. He is doing very well in the school and he can't push me inside well if the school isn't good he wouldn't process the admission for me..I know lots of people schooling there and saying good things about it, i'm not comparing it with other schools and i won't spoil other schools but i know CIU is also good and among the TOP universities in CYPRUS. @usdane, bro e be like sey na CIU you dey and i will like you to help with ym questions, How long does it takes CIU to send my name to the embassy after payment is made? any time suggested time frame? And also i want to pay tomorrow 19th, I hope it isn't late bro ? I think there should at least one person dat have processed CIU on here, Please how long did it take them to send your name to the embassy after payment ? Please help!

wip7: You need google more than anything now!! #NOTE: Turkey is highly industrialized far far far more than Newzealand and only few country in Europe can equate Turkey industrial wise# when you arrive NC go to Turkish embassy and make your enquiries.

fados4sure: Hello my friend, did you say you got admitted to CIU? Why not Near East or GAU or EMU? CIU is not recognise.

wip7: If you wish to enter Turkey with multiple entry visa, U will need to apply showing your bank statement (50USD per day), IV letter from your recipient, proof of accommodation and the process is about 8wks. I doubt you will be issue multiple entry visa as first timer. If you secure single entry or double entry and you do not abuse your visa then you may secure 6 or 3 months multiple entry with 10-15 days max stay on each visit. ENTRY VISA takes 8wks while TRANSIT visa can be obtained within 2days and has different procedure from ENTRY visa and you can stay maximum 5days on TV. With UK vlid visa you can obtain 24hrs online visa with 30days stay single entry.

wip7: You need visa and if is entry visa, it takes you about 8wks to secure that from NC. If you have UK or Schengen visas you can apply online and obtain ur visa within 24hrs. You will need IV letter from him to facilitate your visa appli.

wip7: Schools in NC prepares admission letter based on your names on your results not passport. So present all your documents to the embassy.

wip7: I understand you perfectly. Just defer and reapply by January. Ensure you get new acceptance and new confirmation letters from us early enough. Ensure the names on your documents are same, no mistake with date of birth, make sure your name on your olevel result tallies with the name on your admission letter. These are some of the flimsy excuse the Turkish embassy gave us when will requested to know why genuine students are denied. At a point, we were told they have strong believe those they denied do not intend to study at TRNC but to use it as escape route.

Anyway visa is a privilege so if you are given by January that would be fine, before January hit me on email and we shall write a letter to the embassy again for you. If you are denied, you will be refunded be rest assure!

I don't like the university at all and I picked the name just because I thought we had to choose half of the universities from other cities rather than Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. The rule is only for undergraduates really?
I feel disappointed right now. I expected to have a chance to study in Istanbul, and I stated that again and again in all fields of application form.

May I ask you some more information: Is Sakarya is a good University? It's in Sakarya province and I chose it randomly at first. And btw, my major is International Relations, degree of master. They also stated in the Scholarship offer that I would not be able to change the placement of university or department. However, I really want Istanbul

I knew about the scholarship late, in fact. I did not have much time to prepare for it. Do you think that's one reason why I am not placed in the university of my top priority? I did not have all my papers translated into English and I grabbed the IELTS test in such a hurry without any study and received the score of only 7.0. Is that possible for me to apply for the scholarship again next year? I mean if I refuse the scholarship this year, am I eligible to apply for it next year?
