ajabani4allah:Dollar Is a stable,it rarely lose its purchasing power.$40k of 2015 will still have almost the same purchasing power as $40k of 2024. |
I had similar issue weeks back. I tried different chargers but no difference. The phone repairer told me to change the downboard. It's been perfect since then. |
That's why some people store their wealth in Dollars and other stable currency.Just imagine the 40k was saved in dollar back then in 2015,just imagine you are converting it back to naira in 2024. Insanely crazy figure ![]() |
9ja! One step forward, two steps backward. So what has changed since we sacked Gernot Rohr? Just changing coaches like diapers. Rohr actually brought stability and result but some people's complain is that he doesn't play flamboyant football like pep guardiola's man city. NFF go change coach tire. |
Didi2d:The government are actually clueless on how to curb inflation that's why NLC feels they can't afford to lose both ways;it's either government government bring up a favorable policy that will bring down cost of living or increase their salary. Cost of living is out of the roof |
As long as you are not married to her,oga that girl you are trying to personalize is not yours alone, even the married ones still cheat on people who pay their bride price. Bro just thank God if this is your only problem. |
Winnin009:I can doubt the veracity of your claim tho because I'm not in Lagos. I'm based in IB. But seriously we go to the market with the mindset that things are expensive that is why we often buy things at inflated prices. Sometimes I don't rely on what people are speculating,I dey enter market myself. |
NIGERIANS and unnecessary exaggerating. Some weeks back we been dey think say there won't be a ram of of below 100k. I have actually been seeing ram of 70k,80k with a good body mass. Infact whatever amount you carry enter, you will definitely go home with a ram tho it might not just meet your expectations. |
The deputy spokesman for the House, Philip Agbese, who disclosed this, said the lifting of the ban would end when the economy fully recovers from its current strain. As usual no time frame on when the economy will recover. I doubt if the ban was even effective, the Keke driver that carry me two days ago was just sipping it like it's nobody's business. |
Ram obviously looking for a low budget swimming pool. But on a serious note, why leave a well like this uncovered.Lucky it's just a ram and not a toddler that fall in there. |
Wicked creature |
An architect showing the public the architecture of her body😌.I wonder what hapoen to kanye tho, dude was a good Christian some years back. |
APC supporters will lookaway |
Na person wey chop go do subscription. Food is on top of the food chain to NIGERIANS at this point in time.DSTV should take a backseat now. |
Umuinyioku:Honestly i dont understand how commenter struggle to decode the sarcasm. For me,it was instant 😁 |
Beremx:Congrats ,Just chop food wey go last you like five days. |
femi4:Naira dey dobale with swagger 😂😂.It has to be the most respectful currency,e dey steadily dobale for any currency even Niger CFA can bear witness😅😅 |
It's a miracle the naira hasn't depreciated beyond 1500.The minister of finance and CBN govy are totally out of their depth. We have seen their best already which is even not near good enough. But APC government rarely sack underperformers. |
No update on Invrstors from UAE,India, Saudi Arabia and Germany, the other MNCs we have on ground are even leaving in droves. There is obviously something these companies are seeing that we are not privy to that is making them to close down their enterprise here; For the eyes to avoid seeing evil, your whole body must avoid being where there is evil. |
Law makers should sacrifice their fat salaries and allowance to purchase the airplane but nah they will rather request for loan from IMF or worldbank. |
Now they have given NLC a good reason to be resolute with their demand. There is obviously no way you can convince them the country is too broke to pay whatever they demand. |
Ram subsidy is gone ![]() |
Image123:The outlandish policy of the government actually amplify the wickedness you see out there. The onus is still on them to bringing it down with favorable economic policy that will bring down the price of petrol and diesel and likewise address some socio economic issue like insecurity. If government fail to address this, then they should be ready to be increasing minimum wage on a yearly basis. |
Government need to address what is making labour clamour for an increase MW first, which is the cost of living. Increasing MW will only be a temporary solution to a long lasting problem.Address the bottleneck issues making cost of living on the high. |
They inherited a bad economy, but their profligacy is making it worse. Some times you just imagine what if buhari was in an opposition party? this present government might have crucified him with all sort of propaganda flying here and there but thank God that they are all bird of a feather. |
Who is providing support to Bello Turji that he hasn't been captured yet, atleast that one is home base. |
Obi1kenobi:Even if NIGERIANS adopt the one child policy, the government would still struggle to provide the dividend of democracy to the citizens. |
Obi1kenobi:Thank God you only ask how the workers are surviving because they are not living and could barely meet up with some of their basic need. But with further draconian economic policy adopted by the government, more people will find themselves deeper below poverty line. You obviously don't see any wrongdoing on the path of the government which is actually 75% responsible for what we are facing. If we have had transparent and competent leader in previous years we won't be on this road. |
Obi1kenobi:If the government want to continue to be profligate, and doesn't want to lead by example, sincerely what do you expect workers to do with cost of living out of the roof and standard of living dropping on a daily basis, the only thing they feel they can do to make things easier is to ask for a payrise, since the government is not putting mechanisms In place to bring about reduction in cost of living. If we sincerely want to get things right, both public workers and public office holders should be based on minimum wage, let's see if things won't start taking a new turn. |
Obi1kenobi:Im not a government worker and I don't earn minimum wage but I won't agree with you that the wage demanded by NLC is not realistic. I detest double standard, if increasing judges salary by 300% is feasible, if renovating the vps residence with 21billion is not hard to live up to, if paying 90billion to subsidize Hajj didn't collapse the economy. I hate double standard, labour deserves to quote an ambiguous payrise, the government doesn't have the moral justification to tell them they cant pay them. |
How come soludo is not proffering solution to problem that is making labour demand for an increase in wage. He is against government increasing minimum wage to something decent, but he is tongue-tied to suggest policy that won't make labour clamour for a payrise. |
